Yes, but not until after Easter.  That was the house rules, don't go barefoot before Easter. I routinely run around without shoes on since I'm prego and the bigger I get the more prone to swelling feet I am. But even if I wasn't the first thing I do is take off my shoes if I don't need them.  When my baby spiked a very high fever randomly one night and had to go the hospital I went half dressed and without shoes.    Also when my dogs escape, or there isn't time, or I don't feel like it.

I will say for someone who goes shoeless I have been very fortunate never to have been stung by a bee.  I am a bit intimidated by bees now but it's sort of nice too.

Usually just in the house, maybe to slip out and grab the newspaper. But not beyond that - the closest I get is sometimes slipping out of my work shoes in the office to give my feet a break, but I still have socks on.

I hate wearing shoes!!! The first thing I do when I get home is take my shoes off. I used to go barefoot all the time, when ever possible... Then I heard about flesh eating viruses, I don't walk barefoot in public any more.

Yes, but when I sliced my foot open rather badly I stopped doing that.

I don't like going barefoot.  Occasionally I'll do it around the house, but I'll usually have at least flip flops or socks on then.  I may brave getting the mail without shoes, but usually I'm not barefooted at all.  I especially wouldn't be barefooted in the grass (not to say it's never happened, but..).  I've heard too many horror stories of tapeworms and rocks

I love shoes and I don't walk barefoot (unless I'm at the beach) because I just don't like it at all xD Slippers or flip-flops all the time when at home.

Heh it's interesting reading these replys cuz' here in Sweden noone ever wear shoes inside the house. When I was a kid I used to run around barefoot outside but as soon as I got in I had to go n ash my feet off.
 
These days I always wear shoes outside because I can't really be botherd to go wash my feet everytime I go inside. Plus I'm always scared I might step on something bad O.o

No, I love my stompy boots too much! But last month I walked around a mile in tights (with my converse knotted together and thrown over my shoulder) along the promenade in the blazing heat.

I almost passed out. It was kinda funny but also absolutely terrifying. I saw an ice cream van and almost died when I realised they had diet coke. I was so dehydrated and weak I could barely breathe, lol.

my aunt goes barefoot everywhere! unless there is broken glass or the store makes her wear shoes, I hate them but I never go out barefoot,

I actually LOVE wearing tennis shoes! Or socks and slippers. Rarely do I go barefoot. Sometimes I wear sandals... Every once in a while if I'm wearing sandals to church I'll go barefoot; but not often!
