I used to have that same Green Fairy CardCaptors doll, but i dunno what happened to her. I think I still have the mini Kero somewhere in my room.

I currently down own an anime doll yet, but I do want to own a Volks sometime in the future. <3

There's someone on facebook who I know through local comic marts in the area who makes knitted dolls. I'm thinking of asking if they could make me a Yankumi and a Shin because I really love Gokusen and those are some amazing characters. (I'd ask for a Domoyuji and Makino from Hana Yori Dango but then what one of Domoyuji's MANY outfits do you go for? Maybe later, if I have the money)

I LOVE anime dolls, I reeaaalllyy hope here in the US we willl get some wicked sailor moon dolls!! I dont think I have any atm buut I have been eyeballing the Korean TokyovMew Mew dollies for a while!

Ooh, the Pullip Sailor Venus is really nice. I can't help but hope that there might be a less wallet hurting doll release though, for the new anime. Lol. I'd really like one of the anime based Pullips, but my dream anime doll is Medicom's Real Action Heroes L from Death Note. He's ridiculously expensive to get hold of now, though.

Speaking of which; off hand does anyone know what animes got dolls? I'm curious and what to search eBay and Amazon but sometimes searches are futile without names

Generally shojo or shows popular with women (like Black Butler) are the most likely to receive dolls. 

I always found it weird that for some reason that most versions of Precure don't have doll versions of them. Mainly I've just seen official Futari wa/Max Heart and Doki Doki dolls. Mainly I find it weird because Precure is one of the most popular magical girl lines nowadays.

I have to admit with a hanging of my head that I've not actually seen any of Precure. I will see about fixing this gap in my anime watching. I would have thought a Magical Girl show was a shoe-in for getting dolls made, though. Maybe there's been a change in the market? I know there's a good few Precure Figuarts...

Azone makes a lot of really cute anime dolls released in the Pureneemo Character line. You can see some of them here: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/list/1755/0/1

And Volks has the Dolfie Dream line which has a lot of BJDs based on anime characters.

Cute dolls everyone!

I had those Bandai Cardcaptor Sakura dolls (except for Tomoyo) but shockingly all of their hair fell out.  (The Bandai Strawberry Shortcake dolls had the same problem so I guess it was something they were doing with their dolls at that time ? Maybe the glue ?)

I love the look of the new Sakura and Tomoyo dolls, but I looked into them and they are quite expensive and pre-orders are closed, so getting them is likely to be even more expensive than list price.  Guess I'll give up my dream of having Tomoyo.  As it is, I need to re-hair poor Sakura...

I really love the Korean Tokyo Mew Mew dolls, but I'm trying to resist them.. we'll see how long that lasts.
