Ooh, so many I could respond with... Okay, I'll do a quick alphabetical ordered list. That way I'm not just screaming my absolute favourites at everybody. I'm mostly West End or UK touring casts to be honest, but I do hear a lot of soundtracks from Broadway productions, or see clips of them online and that can be enough to have me fall. Okay. So. List. Alphabetically. Here we go - and sticking to only those that have been staged in a theatre
- Avenue Q - Beauty and the Beast - Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Cinderella (Rodgers and Hammerstein) - Les Misérables - Lion King - Little Shop of Horrors - Mary Poppins - Matilda - RENT - Spamalot - Sweeney Todd - We Will Rock You - Wicked

Only semi related to independence... more due to the fall out but did anyone see the news about what was happening in Glasgow last night? That sort of behaviour just demeans all sides of the discussion, and makes everyone look bad.
Also: regarding the 2015 election; my only thought lends itself towards getting rid of Cameron. He isn't an officially elected Prime Minister, he should never had been in the position he's in. I may not think much of the Labour party at the moment - it's not the party my grandparents supported anymore - but at least they seem to be thinking towards making a working wage.
Whippycorn's right. There's a growing awareness towards the political and economic status quo, which is a great thing to see.

I'll be honest, despite being Scottish and actually living in Scotland... I didn't have much of an opinion on this referendum. I did the research, I listened to the arguments that both sides put out, and I found them both lacking. Yes, I admit to being a little worried by either outcome, but now that is' all over, well, I don't really feel anything either way.
What I do feel is a little bit of disappointment when I log on to facebook and see how angry people are, and how much hate is being thrown around regarding how the vote went. Never mind that it's not the only shot at independence we've had, never mind that we had one of the largest turnouts of ever, no clearly the thing to do is rage about what happened.
I just... I guess I just expected a bit more, I think the word I want is dignity, from people on either side of the debate. It's what happens when living in a democracy, people are always going to be upset. You just have to sort of... grit your teeth and bare it. With any luck, the most important factor of change will be enacted. If no change happens, well, then you can get angry.
Also; my Dad just pointed out that this is the second independence vote within his own life-time, and he wouldn't be surprised to see a third within the next two years.

Just curious, what has been people's best finds, anime dolls (or related merch) wise? I think mine would be one of the Cardcaptors dolls for under £2! (It was Mei-Lin. I never had her as a child, my area only got in a couple of the dolls)

I'm really enjoying Capaldoc so far. Like @The Doctor said, he's very like the classic series Doctors. One and Six, I would say off the top of my head, for the ones he reminds me of the most. (Makes me wonder if we're going to see Susan at some point). It's clear Capaldi is having the time of his life playing the character, which makes it fun to watch and see his joy. Plus, like it's been said in this thread, he and Jenna Coleman work really well together - his Doctor and Clara are fun.

I have to admit with a hanging of my head that I've not actually seen any of Precure. I will see about fixing this gap in my anime watching. I would have thought a Magical Girl show was a shoe-in for getting dolls made, though. Maybe there's been a change in the market? I know there's a good few Precure Figuarts...

Oh, share your plushies and figures too! Anime has a lot of merch, doesn't it?
Speaking of which; off hand does anyone know what animes got dolls? I'm curious and what to search eBay and Amazon but sometimes searches are futile without names

Hm.... Maid Marian and her Merry Men (a Robin Hood comedy show, which makes Marian the lead and Robin a bit of a fop), Cardcaptor Sakura, and Digimon Adventure

I have a collection of Disney plush which I have genuinely no idea where it came from, lol. I used to collect Beanie Babies, but I cut down a lot of that collection, handing most of them out among my younger cousins.

Those really are pretty cute. I mean, an odd mixture yes, but cute all the same.
