Hello Everyone!
We're about to start a new order for Shimmer Locks and wanted to see if anyone had opinions on what direction we should take.
We have a lot of colors that are *reallly* close that we could try to get better matches for, but this would leave us with lots of similar shades.
Or, if you all feel the colors are close enough, we can go for brand new shades and curls of different sizes.
Finally, we could try a mix if there are a few colors that you feel really need a closer upgrade and other we should leave, that's okay too. We're open to any suggestions! ^_^
The only color we aren't willing to chase anymore is a Merry Treat/Baby Stockings red equivalent. We've tried 3 times and ended up with near identical shades, (one which we can't use) so for now, Red Hot will have to do, but anything else is on the table.

I'm in Sioux City Iowa and want to put myself down as a maybe leaning heavily towards a yes. ^_^ It's been a few years but it'd be really great to see everyone again! The rehairing part has me super excited and I'd love to help out with our shimmerlocks.com products if you all think it would be useful ^_^ My vote goes for Owatonna just cause it's a bit closer, but I understand if it needs to be somewhere else to accommodate the larger majority. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure! $20 is not an issue for me especially if our host has to pay for a venue.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I have had someone ask me to look for matching colors for this pony before. ^_^ I still have the comparison images I took with my pony that's still MIP. The closest matches I have are Heart Throb for the pink and Gusty for the green. They're not exact matches, but hopefully they'll refresh her a bit! I'm asking $395 plus shipping for this lovely girl. She has a the teeny tiniest bit of symbol rub. Also some small flecks around her face that can't really be seen with the naked eye (why I took a photo of her next to the full sized Sweet Scoops) and can only been seen when I do an extra large close up with my camera. Otherwise pretty nice shape with almost no rub to her pink hair paint! I'm happy to ship internationally, but it will need to be by priority mail because of her value. I think it still might be age related discoloration. If her head is loose and you can check inside her body, my guess is it will still be the normal pink color.

I'm curious how instagram works exactly... I made an account, but it looks to me like I need to use an app to upload photos? I'm still on my windows 7 desktop (with no plans to EVER upgrade to windows 10, I learned from the hubby's mistake), so in order to use it, I'd have to send photos to my phone, then upload them to instagram from the app on my phone? Seems like kind of a hassle, but maybe worth it? Any thoughts from people who use/have used instagram?

Hi Ponygeek! If you want you can bid your max and then ebay will automatically bid for you until your max is reached. Other people just wait until the last few minutes/seconds and place a "snipe" bid with their max before the auction ends. I believe there are websites that will set up "snipe bids" for you, but I'm not sure which ones are out there or which are any good. I tend to not trust them myself but other people seem to have good luck. Maybe ask on the buyer/trader help forum and see if someone has more info? Hope that helps!
