Nestie Babies in English

Ok...now the auction is over [congrats seller and buyer for awesome price] but can anyone shed light on the Nestie [Nursery] baby Wulferchen [Playful] who was on ebay?


Nesties in an English box with English names and an English set title! This has thrown me completely I thought they were a German release only...does anyone know if this was a UK release or Scandinavia release?

I saw it too! I had never seen them in english packaging before. They now have official english names lol.
Would love to know more about this.

As far as I know they were never sold here in the sweden. I have never seen them show up in used toys auctions here either. (other than from collectors of course)

Yep that one threw me for a loop as well Hathorcat! I was watching with interest, she was very cool to see. Could you make out the English names of the other two on the back of the box?

I asked the seller - they are Baby Bye Byes (rattle symbol) and Baby Bubbles (duck symbol).

I saw that auction too and was tempted.
I'll second that they're not Scandinavian.

It must have been a UK, Scandinavia or Aus release...as these would be the only places that should get English but I have never heard of them being outside Germany before...I couldnt see a price sticker or anything to indicate the source...it has me really curious!

She's so pretty! I have her in her German box but with the English writing is even more awesome!

I don't have any info on this set, but I did my best to decipher their backcard story from the picture:



Baby Playful was in the Nursery playing with her colourful blocks.
Crash, bang, thump, they went as she knocked them over again.
"Be quiet, I'm trying to [sleep?]," said Baby Bye Bye, from her crib.
She peeked her nose over the edge to look sleepily at Baby Playful.
Just then, Baby Bubbles walked in, looking very sad. "What is the matter?"
cried her friends. 
"I've lost my Ducky," said Baby Bubbles. "I can't play in my tub without her!"
"We'll help you look for her," said Baby Bye Bye.
They all looked together in the playpen, in the crib, and finally in Baby Bubbles' tub.
Do you know where she was? Why, she was hiding in Baby Bubbles' tub all along.
