A part of me hopes that, with how bronies have violently reacted to the finale (and will likely continue to react as it's released in more countries & languages), Hasbro realizes that maybe it is better to drop that audience, as things like that could taint MLP in the public eye if it gets enough publicity.

That would be perfect, but didn't bronies have bigger meltdowns over the show before, with Hasbro simply turning a blind eye?

I like the softer blurred colors. The pink and yellow give her a galactic feel.

That is MUCH better, Ragamuffin!!! I was thinking just the other day that her hair really needed a gradient. (I know the official design has a bit of a gradient going on, but her hair stripes are just sort of... there, that's one of the things that bothered me about the design, I think.) I like her face a lot better here, too. Very nice design ^^

I like the progression of colors in the mane and tail.  Makes me think of a twilight which is spot on.

Now THIS....this is beautiful.
The gradients on the wings and hair, as well as twinkles that resemble stars are all a nice touch. That and the crown resembling her element from the beginning of it all. Definitely feels more natural than what we got.

Hasbro care about making money. Controversy can also gain attention for the brand and thus build the market, ironic as it sounds. It's probably not something they're worried about, as the criticism is not going directly to them but the people working on the show.

The harder they cater to them the worse it'll get.

I’m hoping for this, as well.  Honestly, I’m glad people are really disliking this whole finale thing thus far.  If it ends badly, maybe the fandom will finally shut up and give MLP back to its target audience.  It’s been nice that people of all ages have been able to enjoy the ponies, but it’s been forgotten that this franchise has always been around with children as the priority.  It so happens that we adults can enjoy it too, but we’re the afterthought.  If g5 can bring back the innocence of G1-3 (and even early g4), I think this franchise can stay strong.

I must admit I'm disappointed the young 6 didn't pick up the elements. They had it all set up! Bwaaaaaah muh theory. Though I get the "elements were just symbols" thing.

Aaaah, RIP the Golden Horseshoe Gals. Makes sense, but still sad.

HA THE VILLAINS WEREN'T REDEEMED. I was so afraid they would be.

Ohhh man that finale. I'm moving away from my childhood friends in a few months, and I really needed to see that.

This time it wasn't a leak. It was another full on hacking job.... By the same Russian that hacked DHX before.  In addition to the remaining eps, unreleased shorts were also included, along with the actual original scripts for all of that, and every other episode made.

 And there's almost no escape from the spoilers now. Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are getting filled with them, and now screenshots of spoilers are appearing as Youtube video thumbnails, which means you can be browsing pony vids and come across them.

Overseas airings are one thing, but I just can't abide hackings... And it's not even just searching for pony vids that'll get you spoilers, I've found before that YouTube WILL just throw random spoilery vids into my suggestions no matter what I've been watching. >( I hope everyone that wants to, can remain unspoiled! This is awful news.
