I'm not a huge fan of many of these designs, though. My favorites remain Rowlet and Pikipek.

Other than cutiefly, the hedgie, and that dragon....the other new revealed Pokemon look sooooo stupid to me.  They make me feel like they are from another franchise. I know pokemon likes to try these newer edgey spiky designs but they feel so strange to me. Hopefully there are cooler Pokemon going to be revealed next month, so far I'm not a fan of this generation, hope my mind changes since I want to play this during my Florida trip in the keys for that ultimate island feel. So far I'm leaning towards Yokai Watch 2 over Sun/Moon by a long shot. Hopefully there will be an amazing pokemon revealed that will make me freak out, im sure they are saving the goods ones for later. PLEASE Nintendo/Pokemon/GF give me some boss-looking ocean pokemon!

That minecraft wormmon bug thingy looks like a taser or to me or even a subway train LOL. I can't wait for all the fun memes of him to pop up on my IG feed.

So they are adding the new zygarde forms in this gen, kind of weird for X/Y ORAS that fhey arent doing any software updates to add the new forms as mystery gift events.

Do you guys know what animal cutiefly is even based off of? Its a creature I honestly forgot existed, its called a 'bee fly" and its stinking adorable!

I LOVE the new type combos!!! Some really neat potential!! A Normal/Dragon? That really opens up a dragon type's movepool!!!

I'm super obsessed with Bruxish.  It's based on filefish, which are one of my favorite fish groups.  They are all interesting looking and they really do have a stupid little mouth on the end of that long snout.  filled with RAZOR TEETH.  Especially on the bigger species (like scrawled filefish) it's not something you'd want to be bitten by.  And species like the harlequin filefish have crazy colors.  I'm...kind of hoping we get a whole bunch of tropical fish pokes.

And I hear you Princess Lala about feeling like they're from another franchise...but I've felt that way since gen 2, ha.

I find it interesting that Zygarde and Megearna are not under the Legendary link.  They're under Other.  So maybe they'll be like Snorlax and you have a chance to get them as part of the game play but they're not running around randomly.

I actually like most of the new Pokémon that have been shown. My new favorite is Drampa! I don't know why but I loved it instantly when I first saw it. When I read the info about it on Serebii I liked it even more; http://serebii.net/sunmoon/pokemon.shtml

I sort of take back what I said about filefish-I was actually looking at triggerfish and some of them also have the little antenna dealie on the head as well, so I think that's a better analogue.  Perhaps both groups are closely related.  Either way, bruxish 4 lyfe.

I plan on getting moon. I like the bat Pokémon on the cover and I like the moon more than the sun. Litten will be my starter. Most cat Pokémon are terrible so I'm hoping this one will actually be good.

Tons of games come out this late summer/fall that I want, after a long dry spell. The new Style Savvy, Disney Magical World 2....possibly Yokai Watch 2 after I finish the first one.

Another new pokemon reveal today! It's AWESOME!!!! Fire/Poison, and has an ability that lets it poison ANY pokemon type!!! Even Steel and Poison!
