Is there going to be a background story about Cruella? I want to know why a modern day woman is in The Enchanted Forest and has magical powers. Also why isn't she an older woman? It would be awesome if they could resurrect Maleficent since Emma did kill her with a sword to get the thing she did by killing her. Season 1 was so long ago I can't really remember what went on that season other than the obvious.

Maleficent is still trapped in SB as a spirit since Hook didn't kill her (yeah that was last season ::clears out the memory cobwebs:

. I would be curious if they will be able to bring her back to her human form again since she's bound there in some form or another. I thought the creature that came out of the box with the fairies was her...

Cruella, I am having hard time fitting her in with everything...

IF Maleficent can be resurrected from ashes then there must be some ridiculous way to bring back the Huntsman... LOL

My husband keeps asking me why Cruella is part of the story, and what part does she have in the magic. I just shhh! him, and say her fashion sense, but honestly, what's up with Cruella? I know Pongo was Archie's dog, but I'm not sure whether Cruella is just there to fill the 3rd spot in the evil grouping, or she has an actual 'power.'

They showed that Cruella had magic in the first episode she was in. She breathed that green mist that mind controlled the bugs and her dogs. So it seems like she can control animals.

I mean I don't know what they're planning to do with her backstory wise since I imagine it will be much different than 101 dalmations, but in this incarnation she definately does have magic. And I personally love her attitude.

I mean really how bad of a person do you have to be to be PROUD of your blood diamonds.

Cruella has powers of persuasion. They haven't shown if she can work this on other people. Based on her lifestyle I would guess she can... I don't find her to be very fairytalish so I'm just having a difficult time with her in the whole equation.

What's going on with THAT? Belle and Rumple are still married but I guess she can consider it abandonment

So, Maleficent being pregnant was a HUGE surprise! And you can see that she's really, really devastated by the loss.

A convienent storyline. Would this have gone along with 1-2 seasons? No imo. I still go by the fact that each episode is written by the seat of their pants maybe 6 months in advance but then things are added in constantly as it goes. Thus the reason why storylines don't make sense between seasons. I feel that at times the writers forget what happened in the past. However, this Hero and Villain obsession is getting a bit over worded. Don't get me wrong, I like this show, the surprises are great, but some things just get tiring over time.

I wouldn't put it past the writers to have Neil come back next season...

Technically dead is dead. Thus coming from season 1. Which again, previous season storylines dont count anymore.... Lol. So now they have to bring back everyone that died in storybrooke including Graham, Gus? (the auto mechanic guy) and didn't the sheriff of nottingham get exterminated by Rumple... Yeppers!

Mmm, Maleficent is different than Neil and the Sheriff though.... I mean, what if she'd done magic on herself to keep her from truly dying? She was a dragon all those years under the city, after all. And there was no magic all that time, but she was still a dragon! So she's got something going on....
