First pony sketch in 27 years - eek!

After seeing so many lovely pony renderings, it's inspired me to dig out the coloured pencils and sketch pad again. 

Now, it's years since I drew ANYTHING and my first pony since about 1986, so please be kind lol!    

I thought I would have a go at one of my own personas, so here is Pelican Sunrise.  Not as good as Shenanigans creation in my siggy, but I'm quite pleased with it.  Proportions need a little work though.

Wow, thanks everybody!      I didn't expect such a great reaction.

It's so long since I drew a pony and the last thing I sketched was a Boeing 777 back in 1999 lol!  I loved to draw as a child and took art at school up to age 16.  Airplanes took over from ponies (one of my other passions) and I liked to create my own airline colour schemes alongside the existing ones.  Got an old 737 sketch up in the loft that has a My Little Pony colour scheme from 1987.   

Think I'll be doing a few more drawings from now on.
