Ooh, cool that you got her for free! I wish I knew more about IDing Playmobil, but I don't, so I'm going to sit here and wait to see if anyone else has suggestions.
Edit: I did find this website, but I don't have any Playmobil figures on hand to try it out with, so I don't know how good it is. http://www.playmodb.org/playmodb.shtml
I mostly got a lot of like, press kits and stuff at toyfair but I did an interview with playmobil and they had like? a basket on their front desk with these and she let me have one and honestly, I love it, its such a neat little toy, I'm just like. a little wary to take her out of her package if I can't ID her- toyfair isnt the kind of place you would give out anything rare or exclusive at, you know, since its not open to the public or anything so i figured it was just a common little toy and I could open her regret free, but, its Makin Me Nervous because i cant quiiiiite find her. I cant find her on that website either, hrrrm. she's got some similar molding to some other toys but nothing i can find is an exact match. I dunno? maybe theres a playmobil forum i can ask

I stopped by the playmobil booth at toyfair this year and they gave me this neat princess toy; I was taking photos for a website but I don't know much about playmobils and i want to write down in like my personal toy inventory who she is. I did some googling tho and I couldnt find like a comprehensive guide or anything. Anybody got advice? Picture of her included visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I picked her up from a bargain bin at a convention a few months ago; i think shes nice but her colours are a little dull, like instead of being a nice bright purple its very washed out, so i hvent gotten around to fixing her matted hair yet. I like her cutie mark and her name though, they're fun.

I'm SUPER excited!! I have a press pass this year and I can't wait to see the new stuff. I really love the Guardians of Harmony line and I really like the new poses. I hope there's some movie toys or something, wouldn't that be awesome!

Uniwinger is such a cute idea; it really encompasses g4's alicorns and g1'a wingers and it just feels like a very well rounded representation, you know??

In a nutshell:
G1- Awesomest forever infinity plus one. G2- You'll warm up to them. G3- MLP reboot! Very well done. G3.5- No. G4- Anime inspired ponies
G4 was not anime inspired. No offense, but this is something that people incorrectly say about G4, despite the fact their creator (Lauren Faust) said she wasn't trying to make them look anime at all (and in my opinion, she succeeded, they look nothing like anime, at all.
I'm sorry if I sounded rude.
Has Faust said that? I think perhaps Ponyqueen is referring to the big eyes of G4 and perhaps the subtle influence of anime that seeped into a lot of post-90's animation because it was everywhere.
well, yeah, but if you wanna get technical lol, anime's big eyes i based on tezuka's art having big eyes, which HE based on disney lol.... It All Comes Back Around

Blossomforth has been down lately; I bought her for 25 no accessories a few years ago, I usually see her going from 15-19 these days, even with some of her accessories.

WOW that is dramatic. i never even knew it was supposed to be pink and I've had her for years LOL! wow. I'll probably pick up a second one to repink, I actully really like the aesthetic of the white-on-white.

I was watching some G3 specials on netflix and I noticed something I hadn't before; a character twinkle twirl called Desert Rose had.... pink hair. not white. And I kinda went, uh, wait. so this is my desert rose: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginand this is the desert rose on strawberryreef.... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd I'm like, I know pink/red hair is prone to fading. I'm familiar with repinking. But I've never encountered a g3 that had faded pink hair this starkly? She's still got glitter on her symbol, but somewhat less than what pictures on google lead me to believe is normal. bleach maybe??? left out in the sun too long???? she's from 2004, this strikes me as very very stark fading; I would assume it would take more than 12 years to get this white?? Is this a typical desert rose problem? Do they usually fade this badly, or is it just some, and I might be able to find a suitable replacement, or should I just repink her? Thanks!
