Sad day for me. :-( My Aileen Doll dragon, a Rot, had shown up in Chicago yesterday after I got a shipping notice this post weekend. She made it to my PO...and is being sent back because it can't be delivered as addressed. Boo.
The PO couldn't help me. They said if i was seeing that it's already been mailed back. I posted on the message boards for Aileen Doll, and I'm hopeful it'll get worked out. But still, it's frustrating that my dragon was so close!

Hello all! I'm looking to get an avatar made up of one of the g4 ponies: a Nightmare version of Ditzy Doo/Bubbles.
I'm not looking for something super detailed, as I would only be using the image for an avatar on another forum. And I would like the image done in color, but do not have any hard and fast deadline in mind for the image.
If you think you would be able to help me out, please post a couple of examples of your work and an idea of the price for this image. Thank you all for looking!

Beautiful, NoD. Her eyes just pop out at you. You should post more photos of her.

Congrats on the new dollies! Kelpie, those are lovely photos. Next week I'm going to a con in st Louis, so there should be some photos of Faye and any of Maniah's crew that she brings. Sorry to hear that, Swordpony. I hope you can get some for her to ease your financial troubles and get her into a good home. I picked up some pastel pencils at goodwill this weekend. I think the brand is Creatacolor. Has anyone used these on their dolls? I did a small test on my practice head and it seemed to be like regular soft pastel. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk

I realized yesterday that I had part of Faye's legs put on backwards. I restrung her legs to put the hip/mobility joints on the correct leg and now she sits perfectly, lol. I feel like such a dork for not realizing it sooner. Chalk it up to silly newbie mistakes with the first doll. klein, holy cow that's a lotta Latis! They're all super cute though.

Yeah, the guy this one got delivered to felt awful. He said he's been out of town for work and asked his roommate to take the package to the leasing office. I don't really have a second character in mind, and Faye claims she doesn't have enough clothing to share, so i thought I'd try and get some of the money i spent on this one back (most likely to buy Faye more clothes, lol).

No, no! Faye is staying with me. This one I had ordered back in Dec and the universe saw fit to see that she made it to me six months late, lol.

Hey all. Through karma I have found myself with a bjd that I'm looking to find a good home for. She is up for sale on ebay: here.Company: IslandDoll Resin: Normal skin tone, environmental resin Description: listing if for a nude doll with default company face-up, includes CoA, pillow, box, and "trading" card with her measurements. She appears undamaged to me, though I'm happy to provide additional photos for anyone interested. Box has some damage to it. She has spent the last 6 months in her box, so I do not believe she has any yellowing (doll was made in Aug 2013) Price: starting bid is $180 Shipping: US - priority mail, International through ebay's global shipping program. weight will be roughly 4 lbs, from zip 46226 if you'd like to calculate shipping visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Faye is quite jealous of Ari, suppi, lol. I keep telling her I'm shopping but everything is either too big/small or not her style. She just came back from her face-up, and I love it. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Persi was one of the first bjds I fell for. I wasn't able to get the kitsune LE they did of her last year, but I hope they'll do another one in the future.

Wow, Yul is just lovely. Who did you have do her faceup? My girl is done and should be getting sent back to me tomorrow. While trying to track down an idea of how much shipping would be on my dragon, I stumbled across a couple sites offering recasts and it looked like they were willing to copy company faceups. :/ Perhaps if folks want to talk about them further (I agree with not getting into a debate over them) we start up a new thread?
