Pony Corral / So, how do the retro G1 items fit into your overal collection?

Heya peeps! I have a question about the new retro MLP items, where do they "belong" in your collection?

The reason being I have some bits with the new artwork that I want to add in with my ponies, but it feels wrong putting them in my G1 closet which only has the old ponies and merch.

The G2-G4 closet however also "doesn't feel right" as the artwork is so clearly based on the G1s. I like keeping my collection ordered this way and now these retro items have kerfuffled me haha what do you guys do?

So I was at a carboot and just as we were leaving, I looked at this pile of fabrics this older gent was selling for cheap and I practically squaled with joy- an MLP bedsheet that is just perfect, not even the tiniest rip or stai or anything! This made me soooo happy! <3

Pony Corral / Who has the biggest G1 collection? :)

I've been wondering about this for a while, I know that sooo many mlp collectors have got huge G1 collections with full USA, UK sets and herds of Nirvanas as well, and I wondered if there is or are there any known collectors with the most ponies in their collection? I really want to see pics of all of those together ponies haha, just a topic out of interest ^_^

Feel free to post up your own collection pics as well, love seeing them all! ^_^

MLP Nirvana / My first Macau pretty! <3

I am very excited to show off my first ever Macau pony, Minty!! I got her for a good price as she is missing her tail, her washer is rattling around inside her still and her neck is sealed, so I figure at some point it got yanked out (ouch

)

I happen to have a spare tail from a very baity Minty body, so I am going to add that tail to her to complete her again and leave her neck sealed as it is. I'll be sure and pop up an update pic once she is washed, styled and tailed

It's really exciting, when I first started collecting and learned about Nirvana ponies I never dreamed I'd ever own any, now I have a bunch of Italiands, two Dutchies and now a Macau pony!! <3

Pony Corral / To pink, or not to pink....?

I would love to hear your opinions about re-pinking ponies hair. I am a picky collector that does not tolerate hair cuts and the like, though a few of my girls hair is white that should be pink. I am considering having their hair re-pinked back to original colour, but the conundrum is then they are not "original"- do you consider re-pinking to be on the same level as customising?

Hi guys! I've just started collecting these girls and am feeling a bit lost with IDing and the like, it seems to be a kind of obscure doll type to collect here in Europe and I'm not finding much info online. These are my three new girls and I wonder if as a collector you might be able to help me ID them or sort of show me how to start? I seem to be going in circles trying to ID them on my own
