Here's some new art for the new site :)
Sprinkles and Parasol caught in a lightning storm. It looks like Parasol could use some help from the sea ponies to get her across that river!
Why Sprinkes and Parasol? I don't know :) I just like to draw random ponies, and those two were among those on a shelf near me at the time! I wanted to do something a little more dynamic than my usual art, and felt inspired by the scene from the beginning of Rescue at Midnight Castle with the ponies running from the dragons.

I do not claim to have any talent whatsoever when it comes to backgrounds :P

I love your art :) this is adorable, I love how well you have pulled off both poses, and your backgrounds are 100x better than my sad excuses for backgrounds, its really one of my weak points with art :P
-
Really nice work - and your background looks great too! :P
-
Wow! It looks great!

I've always loved your art - this is amazing! Well done ^^

You have done it again. Pumped out yet another adorable pic. Nothing wrong with your background either

Beautiful! I love the expressions on their faces and the shading, it really does look like they were caught out in a storm. As for backgrounds, I usually just pretend they don't exist when I draw! :lmao: So I'm impressed with yours :D

I love your G1s!

Thanks guys! Zenna, that's my preferred method too! XD "What background? This picture doesn't need a background. I don't want it to....uh...distract from the pony." :P
But I figure since I hate them so much and they're so difficult for me, I should probably practice them every once in a while so I can (hopefully) get better.

Very lovely!
And I fall into the "ponies floating in empty space" camp... so your background is quite impressive! XD

I should probably do that from time to time too... but ugh. XD

Not doing a background should be a choice that you make, not a standard :) Practising backgrounds is good. Most of the time a background of some sort, even a colour or texture is better than white.
I think this background adds a nice mood to the picture :)

love this picture! great perspective and movement, and the background is stunning ^^ especially as it totally fits the angle.

Oh Noes!! Poor Parasol could really use a pair of wings for herself right now.
I love how you did their hair, and the cliff side.
-
Sprinkles looks abolutely gorgeous. Great facial expression.
-
This is nice, your background is pretty neat actually. Better than what I can do. XD
-
you're better than me with bg's XD awesome pic :3

Love the dramatic atmosphere!

Great pic! Love the intense colours :)
I avoid backgrounds like the plague! (mostly because I can't do them to save myself!!). Yours is great - totally suits the picture.
Nice to see Sprinkles get some attention, she's such a forgotten pony!
