Title: TFW you find your favorite pony on your birthday :D

My family was visiting me a few days ago for my birthday, so we decided to go downtown for a bit. We stopped in an antique store, and after looking around I managed to find some ponies. :lol:
That alone would have been cool enough, but when I dug through them, I find... a Night Glider! For $5.50!! :whoa:
A little grungy, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little TLC (and maybe a re-hairing)
Incidentally, I did already have a somewhat-baity Night Glider (that still cost a decent amount, lol), but at such a low price I wasn't going to pass this girl up. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I was going to do an alternate rehair on the first one, but her hair really isn't that bad compared to the new one so maybe I should just try to whiten it? Hmm. Also the new one has a fair amount of pindot - is there something I can use to scrape it off besides fingernails? Mine might be long enough, but they're not very strong, and I don't want to totally wreck them. ^^;

:shocked: a night glider for five bucks? You are one lucky duck! I’m not sure on how to remove pindot without using fingernails. But someone around here must know, right? Also, happy borthday!

Congrats! Even in her baity condition she's a cute pony ^.^ Also I really low key find the purple stains on your other night glider to be really precious! They look like freckles.

Your freaking lucky! I wish I could find a Night Glider!!!! My luck is mostly G3's and G4's! However, that's a good find! Congrats!!

Oh wow huge congrats! She will look gorgeous with new hair. Oxy and how water is great for pindot with lots of elbow grease too!

Hooray on finding Night Glider! I totally agree that she's a Very Special Pony. Happy Birthday as well :)
WRT the pin dot I never use nails for scraping; I use this fish knife and it works like a bomb:
Ooh, that looks like a good idea! Not sure where I could find a fish knife around here... maybe the back of a regular dinner knife would work :P
