Who's the Baddest of the Bad Disney Villains?

That was a hard vote.  The witch from Snow White is the orginial bad villain, but I think Maleficent (sp) from Sleeping Beauty was the scariest.  Scar from Lion King is diffently high on my list too.

I voted Frollo. He was such a monster.

Oh Scar, definitely. He's my favorite villain ever- he's so suave and calculating like mentioned before. He kills his family with no remorse or second thought at all. He's unprepared to rule the kingdom, and his poor decisions during the drought would have gotten the pride killed if Simba hadn't have shown up.

He's cool, he's bad, he's completely nuts yet he's smooth. It may even be safe to say he's my favorite character in all of fiction.

I know its a little too late to add another person to the poll, but how about Shan Yu from Mulan?? He led the Huns, killed one of the emperor's best armies, a survivor and burned down a village, infiltrated the imperial palace and almost assassinated the emperor.


Those are some bad things a villain can do.

Cruella. There is no greater evil than someone who can look a puppy in the face and want to skin it.

Oh, yes, he creeped me out so much! Especially when he picks up the doll in that one scene and you just know what that girl and her village is doomed

I voted Maleficent - she's so dark and chilling. I love her character and the way she's drawn, and her musical theme too. I think the older villains are better characters, the newer ones are a bit too "funny" - I think that's why I like the older movies more.

I voted Frollo for the worst villain, but my FAVORITE villain is entirely different.  I still love Ursula - her character design, her sass, and her song is probably the best villain song ever.   Feel free to discuss your favorites too!

I voted other, for the Chernabog in Fantasia; "Night on Bald Mountain." He's my very Favorite villain. Hands Down.

I love Disney villains. Want proof? Here ya go; taken in my studio. It's about ten years old, though, so you won't find the newer villains in it.

You guys are all making me itch to watch The Hunchback of Notre Dame again. It's one of those great Disney movies that I've only seen maybe one time, and that was years ago. I've seen most Disney movies dozens of times but not this one. I need to get myself a copy and have a movie night. I do remember finding Frollo to be super creepy.
