Seconding banditpony, you definitely want a sturdy box and lots of bubble wrap. If it's super wet or rainy in your area, you also might want to consider a ziplock bag or plastic bag. One of the first few times over two decades ago I shipped something MLP, it was moc and the po left it out to the elements and it got rained on.

(I didn't see a post for this in a search; sorry if this is duplicate news.) I went into my local JoAnn's the other day and they had Care Bear fabric that looks like it's based on the vintage version? [ https://www.joann.com/search?q=care+bears ] I never got into CB but they're similar to MLP and I always though CB was cute. The fabric looks so adorable! I'm crazy excited that it looks like the original CB. I think it's awesome that something so 'old' is back on the shelves and available. I'm not familiar with CB so please correct me if I'm wrong that it looks like it's based on the vintage version.  I like making crafty things* and I'm considering making pillowcases and tie blankets once licensed fabric goes on a better sale; please contact me if interested. Am I misunderstanding? I thought the Arena was older than that... I've been out of college for ten years this May but I distinctly remember being on the Arena within the first year or two of college, thirteen years ago... *Picks through brain* The Arena also says I registered in 2003??
It's been ten years since OP has been on the Arena, not how long the site's been around.

That is super pretty, though I think the "glow" affect is a bit much. Mid-December 2017 my local Meijer was selling two similar style canvas decor. (I do still have three purple "Love" ones if anyone is interested in buying them. PM me.) There's also this from The Reject Shop that mlpmerch posted on Tumblr with the same style as the canvas decor that I have. (TRS no longer has them on their site. )

Personally I wouldn't even call the line vintage until the last ones are 20+... but that's because it makes me feel old.  Yeah three-ish years ago I saw people listing later G3s and G4s on Etsy as vintage... noooo... I agree that the definition varies too widely.

It is not; currently CBS has season 2 on its website. The MLP mention is in episode two, which is available for free atm. Eta: This was already posted; my search didn't come up with it. Ponyfan states: "girl mentioning MLP happens around 24:24." The male teammember mentioning other MLPs is right after that.

I didn't see a post here yet so sorry if I'm repeating this. I don't post here at all anymore due to life and lack of MLP interest - still love it for nostalgia's sake and I still visit the Arena from time to time - but I started watching SWAT (CBS) from season two and I did a double take when this happened. A young girl is in the team's care and she doesn't speak English. They're using a phone to translate and she keeps talking about "going to see Peppermint Crunch, Banana Surprise, and Peachy." An oldlerish teammember walks in and says "Hey wait ask her about Swirly Whirly and Cherries Jubilee." ... "You just have to speak seven-year-old girl. Those are MLP characters." I'm sitting here watching and thinking "That's GENERATION ONE! Hahaha they're not even mentioning G4:FIM! Holy cow!" I wonder if they had to get permission to mention them? They're not even made up names or mish-mashed or anything; I recognized all of those ponies! Someone did dang good research! I had to share.  (I felt like this was more OT than Pony Corral related.) Eta: This was already posted; my search didn't return it.

I was going to mention Ikea! Have fun with that! If you're like me and mildly allergic to dust (or just randomly sneeze a lot!) have a full box of Kleenexes at both places and a back-up at one place. I go through a lot. A lot of people mentioned labeling well and I agree. We lived with my in-laws for a year and stored things in my parents' basement. I have a great memory for what went where and it was greatly supported by the labels on the boxes, like when we needed paperwork for taxes. Also if you've got your stuff in one box and someone else has theirs in another, it might be beneficial for you to move your boxes and them to move theirs. That way if you want a box of your clothes you don't have to figure out where it went in the pile of "bedroom" boxes! Duenia - You found VOMIT at a RENTAL place? I guess I can MAYBE see the sick person forgetting about that - MAYBE. But the LANDLORD not getting it cleaned up? Unless they wanted to flip the place FAST. That's atrocious!

Like Mami Tomoe above said, block people if you want. This is a way to "filter" who/what follows you. Pornblogs seem to be a thing as far as unwanted followers go.... And an alternative to XKit is Tumblr Savior, which I have and love. If you like following someone but don't particularly want to see something you can block a tag or certain words in the post. And keep an eye on Tumblr occurrences, which the people you follow will probably reblog. Recently there's been a rash of anons Submitting random YouTube videos but supposedly the email address is a phishing scam. Or something, ha. If you have your Submit page turned off then no worries! (The Submit page is like a much larger Askbox with more capabilities.)

I just started using Ibotta but it always gives rebates/money/whatever for things I don't buy.... The only "helpful" one is 10% back at JoAnn. I work there but I've been trying to cut down on my spending.... Signing up and getting $10 free is pretty great though! If it helps I've heard a few customers say they love it.
Eta: So I just learned you need $20 to "withdraw" your rebates.... And I only have $11.20. I'm never going to get that last $9 to get my $10 joining bonus in the next two days. Plus for me the app needs to be closed and reopened each time I submit a receipt and I have to add JoAnn to the list each time, instead of the app just remembering it. What a waste of my time.
My guess is if you frequently buy stuff Ibotta rebates it's worth it; not for me.

If it is helpful information, JoAnn Fabric and Craft stores - at least some - sell blind bags. However I can tell you that they haven't been updated in several months, at least the one I work at hasn't had a new box of them in a very long time. For future reference maybe?

I did moderate the Michigan board! *Waves at brightglow* And yes cookhuman it was a very fun place to be. With the added information of "pony finders" a Google search still doesn't return anything. I remember poking my nose in a few years ago and nothing had been updated in a while; maybe it got taken down? Thank you both for your comments!

Uh, hi. I haven't been on in a long while - life and such.  Does anyone remember a message board site where people from around the USA/world would post what new ponies they found in their area? Years ago I could find it via searching Google with "MLP encyclopedia" but now that doesn't return the message board I'm looking for. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
