£100One of my favourites, however I have decided to part with him as I am very tight on money at the moment. This is currently my only photo of him as I am without a camera (I took this photo when I first got him), however if you would like more pictures I can get them within the next few days. He has two black marks on his neck and a small one on his cheek which you can see in this photo. His colours in his hair are faded but still visible. He has some factory glue stains on his neck. I am open to offers on him but I do not want to go too low. Postage will be recorded and added on top of price. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Have you ever seen a BIN of a HTF pony at a really low price and snatched it up? Or perhaps you lucked out and won an auction really cheap? Tell me your stories!
My best eBay scores were a BIN listing bundle of ponies with Ice Crystal in for £25, an incorrect listing for Sparks the Dragon listed as Spike, BIN £8, and one time I won an auction for Thundercloud at £6.50!

I just wanted to vent my excitement somewhere. I've wanted to ride horses since I can first remember, but I was never allowed, partially due to costs, and partially due to the fact that my mum thought I was going to fall off and die. Well, on Wednesday I start riding lessons! With the exception of a couple of treks, I have never ridden horse properly before. I am unbelievably excited about this. I literally just don't know what to say! xD Any advice for a total beginner like me? Is there anything I can do to prepare? I was thinking of starting to work out a little and build my leg/arm muscles, does that sound like a good idea? Anyway, yeah! Bring on Wednesday!

Still slaving over my insurance value list. I have a lot of G4's so I've broken the list into sections and will post one section at a time, otherwise it is a lot to take in. GBP is preferable as that is the currency I'm writing down the values in. I've insured the ponies I brought to university with me and need to make a list of the value of each one for it. Assume that each pony is in mint condition, because this is what it would cost to replace mine, not what mine are worth. Please make your answer in GBP (£) if possible. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNFS, just interested to know what my G4 collection might be worth as a lot. I have at least one release of every pony so far (excluding the new ones which I will be buying soon). Just interested in what the whole lot would be valued at really. Oh yeah I also have the Mane 6 and Sunset Shimmer EQG Dolls, the snowglobe ponies Cadance, Celestia and Luna, and Fashion style Luna and Cadance, but they're in the attic so couldn't photograph them. Also have a lot of blind bags, almost all of the show ones and a few "randomers".

I've been asking around about this for a while but can't seem to find a solution that works. Some of my BAB ponies have dry/frizzy hair. I want to defrizz them and get them as close as how they should be new. I've tried putting conditioner in them, using a blow dryer, and using diluted fabric softener, all of which are methods people have claimed to work, but I am not seeing any results from any of them.
Does anybody have any other ideas on how to fix their hair?

"Ask and you shall receive" as the saying goes, and it's true! I asked OnlyFactory a few months ago if they'd make a Jazzie plush, and, well, they did! I sent them a few pictures I'd drawn but they pretty much copied my icon for it xD Here she is! I'm excited for her to arrive. I don't know why they put black on her feet but to be honest I don't care visitors can't see pics , please register or login[Moving to brags ~ Mirn]

My Grandad passed away earlier this year which was a very sad time for me, and I decided I wanted to get something to commemorate him by. I started searching for a pony that reminded me of him, but I couldn't find the right one. He loved cars and Spitfire planes, but I couldn't find any ponies which stood out to me. Suddenly it hit me, why not get a custom made? I'd never had one before and this seemed like the perfect occasion to get one. So I commissioned this Spitfire themed pony from pandabear_chan and he is wonderful. I am so pleased with him. He is just what I was looking for visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI made him the little bandana too with the years he lived on it, I thought it added a nice final touch.

I seem to have the worst luck with buying plushies on eBay at the moment xD I ordered the trio of hyenas from The Lion King for £75 (which, considering they're usually around £30-35 each, is actually a good price). Anyway, the listing was very vague and didn't really say anything other than how big they were, but I took a chance and bought them anyway as they're highly sought after and I didn't want to miss out. They arrived this morning, all in one parcel but in individual clear bags. The first thing I notice is that two of them have their labels cut off. That's no big deal, I can live with that (although it wasn't mentioned or pictured). Then when I actually got them out of the bags, I noticed that one of them was in significantly worse condition than the other two. He's quite clearly been put in the washing machine despite them being surface wash only toys. He's floppier than them, and his fur isn't as soft, and he has a few paint stains on him. Also, both his neck and leg have clearly come open and been restitched. The other two are absolutely fine though. I don't want to send them back or anything but I just feel like this is something the seller should have mentioned in the listing, as it's a rather noticeable defect. I'm just wondering what I should say to them. This is what I came up with, but I don't know whether or not to request a partial refund at this point or wait to hear their response: "Hi there,
These arrived this morning. Ed and Shenzi are good but Banzai is in noticeably worse condition than them. I've found multiple flaws with him:
- He's floppy and feels as though he's been through a washing machine. - His neck and one of his legs looks like they've been torn and restitched. - He has a few white paint looking marks that I can't remove. - His label/tag has been severed off (this is the case with Shenzi too actually but everything else with her is fine)
I'd still like to keep them because as I said, Ed and Shenzi are great and I don't want to split them up. I would have just preferred to know before I bought them, as it wasn't mentioned in the listing and I was under the impression that they'd all be in similar good condition. I have attached photos of all the flaws.
Sorry to complain, I really hate complaining unless I feel I have to.
I look forward to your response.
Skye x"Does that sound okay? Do you think asking for a partial refund would be appropriate (not even sure if you can do that on eBay)? I still want the toys, I just expected them all to be in good condition. Can I have some advice? I bought a soft toy from somebody on ebay who listed it as new because it still had the tag attached. I could tell that she didn't really want to sell it from the item description, she was very reluctant to let it go. The only flaw she mentioned was a small blue mark and that it had received "the odd cuddle". She was also extremely nice to me in messages before it arrived. However it came today, and to be honest it's just not in the condition I was expecting. It's got another mark which she didn't mention (I'm not suggesting she did this on purpose, she may have not nptcord it), it's lost it's fluffyness (feels like it's been handled a lot) and it also smells kind of weird, like cheese? I feel like I should say something because I paid a high amount for it expecting it to be in very good condition, but she's been so nice to me and I know she didn't really want to sell it so I feel really bad saying anything. On top of that these are quite htf so id be reluctant to send it back considering ive been looking for one for ages. What would you do in this situation?
