She loves it. She loves pink and kawaii so I tried to incorporate those things. Thank you to Heely for inspiration!
Opinion Needed!
I'm thinking of doing a rainbow set of this style (I'm in love with the soft fluffeh!) But I'm struggling with what to paint on them. Geometric shapes, mandalas, stars, fruits, something else?

And a bonus WIP. I thought about adding a chain from her nose to her ear, but that might be overkill. She is a painting exercise to try to get my skills back.

Oh my goodness! I just about squealed when I saw this, she's absolutely beautiful! I'm amazed that my work was able to inspire you, I think our cows would get along great <3 the little pearl horn is adorable
For your fabulous floofy WIP, I feel like swirls or spirals would work well with the rainbow look. Fun and flowy, just like that hair!

awwwwww so cute
-
Oh that hair blend is gorgeous!
I think a geometric shape series would be really neat. Decide which colors are sharp or round and go from there...
-
LOVE that cow :)
-
The cow is adorable :lovey:
And wow, love that poofy hair! I'm seeing the pony with something 1970s inspired :P Geometric patterns or stars would work wonderfully (without or without the 70s look)!
Your yellow WIP looks lovely, too. I agree it was a good idea to leave the chain out, though. Are you working with new or old paints and brushes? Asking because the paint looks a tad lumpy/thick and I'm thinking it's maybe more to do with the consistency of the paint and/or quality of materials rather than your skills or hand-eye coordination. Although I guess getting to know your materials and how to adjust paint consistency to your liking is part of the customiser's skillset, and something one needs to train after a long break or when switching brands etc. :)
You still have a killer eye for colour and I'm loving your signature eye style.
-
Yeah, CSA you do the best eyes!
The cow is adorable and I love the orange and blue custom (my fav color combination!). I think geometric shapes and/or stars would look good on the rainbow pony. Did you brush out the hair yourself or buy it that way?
-
Love the fluff!!! And the intricacy of the other one doesn't need a chain xxx
Cow-Pony is adorable too
-
They're very cute. The last one is beautiful

It's so neat to see new ponies by you! Strawberry Cow is adorable, and the WIPs are exciting. The fluffy rainbow hair rocks. Mandalas might be too busy for her -- geometric shapes, maybe? Or stars? Her colors make me think of early dusk on a spring night.

The strawberry cow pony is really cute ^.^ Your daughter is lucky to have her...and you!
The rainbow fluff pony seems like something fairly simple would work best, since so much is going on with her hair (which is awesome by the way! I want to touch it or possibly eat it? It looks like candy, ha ha). So yeah, geometric shapes, or stars, seem like they would work well and have a nice retro feel. Or maybe a more complex pattern that is monochrome? Looking forward to how she turns out!

I'm excited to see you creating again! I love these ponies too! Strawberry Cow is such a cutie - I saw the pony that inspired you, and they're both so adorable!! The little bell collar, the pearl horn!! Adorable!
Fluffy rainbow hair is YESSS!! I love the volume you've gotten here too! Yarn hair can be such a hit or miss for me! :lmao: Coming up with symbols is so hard for me, so I'm not sure I'll be much help! But I almost wanna suggest something monochrome, or silhouetted, to contrast with the brightly colored hair/body? Like if you do dots, maybe rings of black or white between the colors? IDK, I feel like the hair is so wild and fluffy, I almost wanna see something more regimented as the symbol, like mandalas, so they can heighten the contrast between each other. Play with it! You might see it on the pony and realize 'nope, this ain't it' and try something completely different that looks great!
And lastly, I love this orange/blue girl! I was just thinking the other day what a great color combo that is! I'd personally love to see her with some jewelry, BUT I am also someone who is of the 'more is more' school of thought, so take that as you will! :lmao:
