Is this Megan?

So today I found this doll, thought it looked a lot like one of the G1 Megan dolls and sure enough, on her back is 1985 Hasbro. But what threw me off is she had a big bright purple streak in her hair; I'd never seen a picture of Megan with purple streaks, so I thought maybe Hasbro had used the same mold for another line of dolls? I bought her regardless, as you do 

Then later when I take her out of my bag, the purple streaks are gone. Verrrry faint bit of purple left, (for a second I thought some of her hair had fallen off lol.) Because she'd been in the sun all morning, I was thinking of the sunshine ponies with their colour-changing streaks.

Anyway, I'm sure someone will know; I'm pretty sure this is Megan, but was she ever released/advertised with colour changing hair? Has anyone got photos of a Megan with her purple hair so I can do a comparison?

Yes, she was released with color changing hair at one point.  I have one but she is in storage so I can't get pictures, but I thought that mine had pink hair, not purple.  I could be wrong, it has been a while since I've had access to her.

Yep. That's twice as fancy megan. She does have color changing hair streaks that change in the sun.
