I wholeheartedly approve of Bow Tie being your first. She's one of my all-time favourite ponies! I don't have her yet though XD Though I do have a curly-haired Italian one who's gorgeous!

Restoring G1's are so much fun to do! And with a little effort you will see amazing differences! Congrats! Please post before and after pics!
