Are they just as complex as other adult colouring books?

We have Dollarama in Canada - it often has Lisa Frank stuff too! :) Thanks for the heads-up, maybe there's a new wave of stuff coming for summer!

It sounds like I'm going to have to check out Dollar General soon. :) I'd love to see pics of the Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears books.

I actually picked up a Lisa Frank one last time I was there; the quality is pretty good considering the price. c: I'll see if I can't grab some photos later today.
Didn't know they had Care Bear ones! I was in a hurry though so I probably wasn't paying attention.

The paper isn't really suited for gel pens. I tried coloring a page with gel pens(the back of the page was covered in strawberries and leaves. It's hard to see but the strawberries and leaves transferred to the piece of white paper I had underneath the page I was working on.

I almost got the Care Bears book but it's mostly pictures of Cheer, Grumpy and Bedtime and the rest of the pages are random food items with bear faces. :what:

It is a bummer :sad: especially considering how nice the Strawberry Shortcake book is. The Care Bear one has Bedtime sleeping on hamburgers with bear faces and there's a page of mushrooms with bear faces also.
