The one issue the UK does have is that nationwide distribution is not consistent - some areas are getting things and others not - but that seems to be a general distribution issue in the US and other places as well...I won't complain since at least we're getting stuff.

I mean that. Obviously that's much better than not getting anything at all  :) :) but I wish there was a more even timelime for all stores in the Uk as in France for example, where toy stores such as Le Grand Recree, Joueclub, Fnac, Amazon.fr among others start selling sets at the same time, no matter which one you try most of them have the stock, the second rainbow wave was released a little earlier than in the UK. True, BF released some info regarding the dates but in the meantime Amazon has delayed twice an order I placed for unipegs which was supposed to be released on 1st. June and by this time I have received a second email from them stating I might be getting them by September  I guess that if I had to rely on retailers in the UK it would mean basically, to be blessed and have a stroke of luck to find an unscented or a second wave rainbow pony. It's just the uncertainty that makes it a little uncomfortable for me but as you have said previously, it's not a UK thing, even the US suffer from this. :|

That's interesting. We've not had any unscented Rainbows in stores over here (just the scented ones and now we are on set 2, when JL bothers to restock...) so maybe they're all in Malmo O.o.

Actually, they have restocked those ponies that have sold out, individually and always unscented. could it be that Coolstuff is more aware of the staining issue and rather sell those unscented? Maybe JL
and other UK retailers) has no idea about this or they do but is moneywise for them to sell those away for cheaper? Indeed, UK is drawning in scented ponies, collectors and long delays awaiting for other sets.

Amazon.uk release date for Unipegs set makes no sense either.

I forgot to mention that I got all my UNscented 1st wave Rainbow ponies about a month ago on www.coolstuff.com I remember emailing one of the guys to confirm which version they sell and promptly got a reply confirming they ONLY sell the unscented version. I hope that may clarify those interested in getting them. They also sell AJ's set. Plus, you get free shipping to the UK on orders over £39.95 . If you join their mailing list you can get an extra 10% discount on your first order.   :) :)

Very pretty!! :D They look great all together.
It seems wrong that Spain aren't getting them in stores, not least because so many Spanish collectors asked about them!

I can also recommend that site - my sister bought Bow Tie from them and she arrived safely and promptly. They also do listings in £, at £12.99 per pony. They are probably technically £9.99 ponies, but since we don't know yet whether the UK will get this set, it's worth being aware there's a good European resource to get them :)

Yes! And if you subscribe Coolstuff newsletter you get a 10% off your first order, I paid around 57 euros for the 4-Classic set. I mean considering I'm in Europe, getting free shipping by DHL and three days later they were already here was a real deal for me. It's unfortunate that not even Spanish Fnac is offering them for sale, none of the sets, ever. So far you can only rely on Amazon.es in case you felt like paying around 19 euros for any first wave Rainbow pony...or a Tickle for 34 euros

Hi everyone, I haven't been here in ages but omg I seriously need some of these ponies! 😍😍😍 Has any one seen them in Germany or any information about them xoming to Germany?

Have you tried www.webhallen.com ? They ship to Nordic countries and Germany only. So far they have the first Rainbow set, the 5-pack set too and the 4-Classic set. Actually, the 4-Classic set is 14% off.

A special thanks to Bibi whose incredible help has made my dreams come true by getting me the second wave Rainbow Ponies.

Also, I would like to share with you all the place where I got the 4 Classic Set and some UNscented Rainbow ponies: www.coolstuff.com, is a Swedish store, ponies are 15.90 Euros each BUT shipping is free if an order over 49 euros is placed, which you do if you order the set. They ship worldwide by DHL (I got mines in three days!)
the ponies are here: https://php.coolstuff.com/My-Little-Pony-Retro-Earth-Ponies and here: https://www.coolstuff.com/My-Little-Pony-Retro/16662?_ga=2.4184560.1798040535.1555496889-1814898610.1555496889
An important thing to note is that you can actually check the stock for each pony.

I hope this might help to all those European folks who haven't had the chance to get them or won't be vey likely to in their home countries (mine for instance).  :) ^.^

Welcome to the arena! It’s funny, I’ve been hoping to add a us twilight to my collection for a while now, if I find her in the wild. Already, I’m a bit envious, and I haven’t even seen your collection. Do you have any notable favourites aside form twilight and starflower in your herd?
Thanks! Yes! I love the mexican Swirly Whirly (not in its best shape though) that came with the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe. Now, I think I have too many favourites haha, I have a fascination for the second wave Rainbow Ponies with those bold colours!, G1 Applejack, soft pastel colored Wind Whistler, European Confetti

Just jumping in to clarify a few things as someone who saw the flutter ponies in person at the booth.  ^.^

- They didn't want the Flutter Ponies to be shown originally as they are not confirmed yet and not finalized. They will only be made if a retailer picks them up. Aside from the wings, the Flutters shown are not new (keen eyed collectors can see if  you look closely ;D)
- The prototype wings are much thicker and nicer. They are well aware of the issue with the broken wings and promised to ensure that wouldn't happen if made.
- They hope to still have them be able to "flutter"
- They hope to make the wings iridescent as opposed to what is shown.

As to other new items, they do have more surprises coming soon than what I see posted so keep an ear out and hope for the best ;D

Wow! Thanks for clarifying! I feel positively overwhelmed by so many good news, I can't believe they are actually (ok, hopefully) releasing Flutter Ponies... I never had a single one as a kid, so to me is a great chance. This is really looking good and I can't imagine what we might be getting in the future. It's definitely a good sign BF considering this and other sets and there are obviously other details that I might not have 'innovated' as Lemondrop in a recolored Pretty Parlor, but well, we can't blame them for saving costs. I feel optimistic and thankful for having the oportunity to get if not a 100% accurate re-release, a glimpse of the same nostalgia for introducing G1 to new generations.

Thanks!
Something remarkable I still remember about the Mexican ponies is the artwork which was exactly the same as in the US but in Spanish, I distinctly remember Twilight's cardboard to be the same but with a Starshine puffy sticker, which by the way was the only sticker ever included with Mexican ponies. I used to collect all the cardboards and boxes, First tooth, Twins, Sundae Best, "Prince" (and not Princess) ponies but sadly is a Peek-a-boo baby pony box the only one I still keep.

Thanks for the warm welcoming!

Do you still have your childhood ponies? Living in Spain you might have some special nirvana ponies in your collection :)

Love pkw xx

I certainly do! I was born in Mexico though, so the ones I got then were the mexican nirvana ones! Twilight and Starflower as the firsts...not in their best shape unfortunately but I still keep them and treasure them ;)
