So many people from MA on here! It's pretty cool. Looks like we're all on opposite sides of the state though. Still nothing new at Target or WalMart in central MA. Most of the stores around here restock on Wednesday and Sunday, so I am hoping to get lucky tomorrow. Even the TRU around here haven't really gotten anything new. Bleh. Some of the wigs seem to be a bit smaller, and they may not fit so nicely over the hard spot on the newer ones. The other thing you can try is to flip the wig inside out and make sure you have the post jammed in all the way, then flip it right side out once it is in place. As for the leg, if it looks different than the other one, something may have gone wrong. You can always call Mattel and tell them about it. ETA: ok no more being sidetracked. Does anyone still see Signature Venus in their store shelves?? Just getting a feeler to see if she's still in stores or not. >,<; Most places I've checked are starting to stock the picture day ghouls.
Two KMarts near me have them. They seem to have gotten the cases in with Robecca, Venus, Abbey, and Rochelle. They both had several of each doll. I actually saw them at a Target yesterday too, now that I think of it. I wonder if it is a random pallet that Mattel found out back, or if they are just filler for now.

So, I ordered the deluxe Robecca fashion on Amazon. I noticed in the photo of the outfit that it looked like there was only one earring in the package. My fashion arrived today, and lo and behold, it only has one earring. It doesn't really look like there is one missing, but more like they only packed one. I have these custom shoes... The ones on the right are bases to be shoes for Nefera, they are very cool, but I haven't been brave enough to hack at them yet and add straps. They Frankie shoe clones are glow in the dark, ruby glitter, and pearly grey. So, here is what I came up with for 376 "old" bags of hair and 32 new bags. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe average for my new bags was 11.9 grams, while the average for the 376 bags was 12.1. Not statistically different in my opinion, especially with the oddball outliers over 20. I have them all sorted by color if anyone seems to think certain colors are culprits. I did have an old bag that was 8 grams, 8 bags that were 9 grams, and 33 bags that were 10 grams. None of my new order was under 11 grams. From this, I would have to conclude that the over 14-15 gram bags are flukes, not standards. And, as far as I can tell, it seems like when I ordered one or two bags of a color at a time they might be a little higher, whereas ordering 4 to 6 of a color made them more consistent. 167 bags of hair were 11 grams. Can't argue with that.... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginETA: Oh, as for the 7 blend bags I have, they average at 15.3 grams.

I have weighed over 400 bags of hair (MLP size) and am currently getting the data together to make some graphs of it. I will post the results as soon as I have them compiled. This constitutes 32 bags from the "questionable" lot of hair and ones going back several years.
