Title: My Friends in France! What Is the Best Hotel to Stay at Near Paris?

My mom is planning a trip to Paris France for her Birthday. What is the best Hotel to stay at? She would like to stay in the 1st District. Thank you for any help!

They have been but sometimes a local opinion is more helpful.

I'm not in Paris (unfortunately) but I am a travel agent, so can help out?
1 Arrondissement can be very expensive due to its location, but I generally recommend anything that's not a brand hotel. Does she want to be near the Louvre?

Brilliant. :) The other option is across the river, and looking at the Louvre, which is also a trick we use with people who have to see the Eiffel tower every morning.
