Ooooh- I love the G1 and G3 prototypes! SO FUN!

Here are some of mine-  I no longer have the clear glitter Fluttershy proto- she belongs to Kellyponyfeathers now (as far as I know)

Can we really call most of the G4 variants prototypes?  *curious chin-stroking*  Given how many of them there are, and how they were sold, it seems more like they were deliberately made either to use up extra bits or just to turn a profit.  True prototypes typically are pre-production or tests and not churned out in large batches.

I found another photo, my proto (or whatever you want to call it) Rainbow Power Fluttershy. She has different hair colors than the final release. I just adore her with these colors.

I think some of them are, but I think some of these are factory rejects?

The one I had was the only one I've ever seen in the hands of a collector unfortunately. (The only other one I've seen was a pic posted by hasbro on their FB page).
