Where to keep G3s?

Where do you all keep your G3 ponies? I won three auctions for them yesterday (I just need to wait for the seller to combine the shipping prices) and I love the general look of G3s. However, I'm really frightened of magnets! My parents both work with computers, so I think I grew up to be weary of them. I took the magnet out of my Seaspray, but, the cover was too stretched to put back in... I'm not too dexterous, so I think I'll avoid doing that again. Where is a good place to put them that won't put electronic things at risk?

Just don't put them ON anything electronic and you'll be fine. The magnets aren't very strong, so they aren't much worry as long as you aren't absent-minded.

That said, I've put them on my computer without thinking before with no damage.

In my loft for the future as I don't collect them, but I have 4 in the bottom of my display cabinet as I have become rather fond of them, those 4 are super pretty! x

Personally, I have a shelf for them all.

Mine are all on wooden surfaces mostly. No worries there!

I really don´t think you should worry. If they had some detrimental effect on electronics someone would have reported something ^^ which makes me think that their magnets are far too weak to do anything really

The magnets in the G3 ponies aren't really "weak" and they could pose a threat to electronics, but it's not terribly difficult to avoid damage. Don't store your magnet-bearing G3 ponies directly in contact with electronic items or anything they could demagnetize (like your credit cards). Arranged on a shelf, displayed on a desk, or piled up in their boxes would be perfectly safe. They are pretty fun to stick to magnetic surfaces if you have any available~

Like others have said, the magnets are very weak, but just do not put them on electronics for a long time.

I had been using my laptop with a G3 on my lap, and suddenly the laptop went into sleep mode... to test I switched it back on and touched the magnet to the laptop again, and sure enough, back into sleep mode!  No damage to the laptop... but wouldn't recommend having G3 ponies within say, 6 inches of anything electronic!

Also, on some of them, if you boil their magnet hoof for a bit it will sometimes pop right out and you can easily replace the plastic cover without the magnet in it. It's only worked on a few for me, but I thought it was worth a mention. (:

I keep them on my bookshelf where they are far far away from anything electronic.

I just have my G3s on shelves like all my other ponies. Half of them are on shelves connected to my bed, and the other half are on a doll house my mom's father made for her when she was little that's being used as a shelve (since I have so many G3s). I sometimes have ponies sitting on the laptop while I type (Pink Sunsparkle's on it right now) and the magnets aren't harming it at all. ^^
