Hi,
I’ve had my switch for just over a month got it out to play today. My console will no longer recognize the left joy con even though I charged the switch and the controllers last night. I’ve tried the trouble shooting steps on Nintendo.com and nothing works. What should I do now?

Are you playing it in handheld or docked mode?

Handheld but I also tried docked mode and the left joy con will not work or respond.

I have to send it back to Nintnedo along with my Switch system to be repaired. I must have got a bad Joy Con right out of the box. I'm very careful with my gaming systems and don't see how it could have stopped working in less than a month unless the Joy Con was faulty to begin with.

We had to send in the Switch once when an update made it "orange screen". I hope the issue is fixed quickly, that's upsetting that it would come already broken.

I'm a little nervous about sending my Switch in to be repaired because the Nintendo agent I was talking with gave me a bunch of worst case scenarios that might happen if it can't be fixed. I've had many Nintendo systems over the years and never had to send one in for repair.

I got my Switch back today :D :cheer: I think they replaced the Joy Con with a new one because my invoice says "part replaced" I put the Joy Cons on and it recognized both of them. :D
