I kind of think I like the white stripes a bit better! But it's always fun for something to find. Reminds me of dark Bowtie.

And I never found dark Bowtie either! Boooo!! I hope I can find a pink-stripes Nova, but goodness, I miss having in-person stores to shop from! It sure would make all of this a lot easier! (Although I bet Walmart loves the excessive orders, LOL!)

I wonder if Nova's stripes changing are similar to BF making the first run of Rainbow ponies scented and then changing them to regular ponies after the scented ones were all sold.

Possible. I don't think that release ever made it here, so I wonder about whether the white striped ones are being hoofed off to the UK while the pink ones appear in the US.

We never had those as vintage plushies so I'd be all over them if they came out!!! The only other retro plushie I bought was Snuzzle because SHE was never a vintage plushie either!!!

There are pictures of the new plushes on the pony Facebook groups.  I would share but I don’t want to take someone’s else’s photo and, secondly, I only know how to post pictures from my own deviant art page to here.
Someone more tech savvy will hopefully post photos in the arena soon.😁

Medley is cute

Well I know what I'm going to be spending all of my money on!

Medley and Twilight (along with Moondancer and Glory) were my absolute favourite's from when I was little, I only have the comics to blame as those were the only versions of the characters I knew for a very long time and the comics held onto those characters for ages after they'd long since gone out of production. (The fact that they never went into the UK line has been a bugbear for almost my entire life). So Basic Fun, you are literally creating my childhood dreams!

I hope they go on general sale soon.

That's an interesting theory.   I'm surprised that BF was so quick to change Nova's stripes after the first run.  I really like the white stripes more, even it it's not completely accurate to the stock image they used to create them.


I think I ended up with 3 scented Rainbows and 3 regular ponies due to how quickly the scented ones ran out.


The new plushies are so pretty.   Something seems off about Twilight though.  Is it the streak in her hair?  It looks more pink than purple to me.

Were Medley, Applejack and Twilight released in the 80's as plushies?
