an ambiguous project, looking for ideas (gore/horror)
« on: October 16, 2014, 01:51:33 PM »
hey every pony!  I need some  help or  some ideas  for a   big project I want to do.
troubble is I have no idea how to tackle it!

fellow Horror fans will be aware that it's the 30th Anniversary  of Nightmare on elm street.

I want to make a custom commemorating this.
I'm a little stumped  as how to go about it tho  as I don't  just want to make another Freddy pony.
I want to do something that  embraces the movie as a whole!.

for the base i have  a prepped g3 styling Rarity

I've decided for the hair  to go with the   red and green stripes'
but  as for the rest of this custom  I have no clue!.
I want a plan this time ,  I don't want to just wing it'

so  what I'm asking  really  is for suggestions /  ideas   for what to include on this custom.
looking for  elements from the first  nightmare on elm st. movie but will  consider suggestions over all of them (excluding that  god awful remake).

part of me wants to some how work in the  bath scene.
and   the exterior of the house .... but im not sure'

How about if you do a split design? Have all the gritty stuff on one side; boilers, blood spewing bed, Freddy, etc. And the more dream sequence-y stuff on the other; white gowns, feathers, a goat (it was a goat, right? or was it a lamb? been a while since I watched the first film) and Heather. The house could be used on both sides, like the porch could wrap around the pony. You could have the trellis in there too.

This might be too involved but, it would neat if you could have something that could be moved from one side to the other, representing the scene where Tina gets dragged up the walls (easily my favorite part :P )
