Oh yeah after this I did find them at gamestop for same price! Thanks!

I just saw the Ghostbusters pony at Gamestop (online) and came over here only to find 12 pages about this and more ponies!

I really like the IDEA of Ghostbuster pony but she looks so odd.  Do you guys think she will really look that way? Maybe they will fix her eyes ??

PRIME looks way more cool.  Checking out others now !

Wow I love the Princesses!  And Sunset Shimmer is pretty cute too :D

I have been actively trying not to get any of these because then I'd be tempted to get all of them and they are a little pricey and take up a fair amount of space-

but I do really like them...

Hm, I guess I love my Demon Donkey the best.

After that, there is this weird one that appears to be based on a Monster High character.

I also really love those Taobao fakies with the extremely weird cringy/crying faces, they crack me up...

If you can take them apart with a heatgun/hairdryer- do so.

use TONS of padding foam bubbles, make sure the pieces cannot shift about.

UPS is by far the cheapest for the size you are contemplating.

If the items are too fragile/brittle or there are a LOT, you could consider getting a pallet  but that gets really expensive

Yeah, the Wanaccessory stuff is definitely licensed, some employees of Hasbro China were at their initial showing of their MLP line, which looked WILD.  Highly customized G4 ponies, giant G1 retro cut-outs . . . But it does mean it's pricey . . . The snap-ons are the cheapest thing I could find, I think they're the equivalent of . . .  $12 USD each?

Okay, but I did break down and buy this:

It cost so much.  But I already have the Twinkle Eye pony one and I love it and . . . it's like, will they ever make something like this in the US?  I don't know.  So I went for it.

Um, just going to post a pic of the Twinkle Eye one again because I love it so much.  This is my absolute favorite piece of G1 backcard art, from the front of the TE backcard:

I was eyeing that for a LOOOOOONG TIME -  the art on it is SO CUTE!

I just love that there's official, adult Mr. Potato Head merch.  I guess someone will wear it!

So I've already posted a lot of stuff about Wanaccessory's MLP line, but I wanted to show off this cute Bangles (I think it's So-Soft Bangles but it could also be Buttons) thing.  Snap-on accessory?  Not sure what to call it!

Oh wow I love these- especially THIS one!

I was looking at the full products and boy are they pricey!  But apparently they are licensed and the products were shown with Hasbro China- so they are legit! Pretty rare for Taobao...

I hope Hasbro USA re-uses some of that art...

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Shipping delays from Russia?
« on: June 23, 2020, 10:35:43 AM »
Russian post is probably the worst of the delays-  I have had a package that cleared customs on March 17th and nothing since.

The problem is that unless it is traveling by DHL, the mail is dependant on hitching a ride on personal and commercial flights- and there ARE no flights (or maybe there are a VERY VERY FEW JUST NOW STARTING) -  that means all the first class mail is piling up and piling up and piling up....  they must have entire warehouse full by now.

I have HEARD (don't know if it is true) that stuff that is just going out NOW has a better chance of getting there sooner than stuff that has been in the mail since March/April/May because all of THOSE packages keep getting rerouted and are basically stuck in postal limbo indefinitely due to the pile up.

I don't expect to see my March package anytime soon....

On the upside, a package from Japan that has been in the mail since March DID just arrive two days ago!  Apparently it was returned to sender initially, and they sent it back out in May sometime-  my goodness it took soooo long...  but I am just grateful it got through at all.

I DID have a package recently mailed from Russia that arrived very quickly-  but she sent it via UPS -  so if you are ordering ANYTHING from Russia (or Japan) get it by UPS (or EMS or DHL) - I think those are the only ones punching through.

It would appear that Australia got hit with the year 3 ponies, sparkler, Surprise. Gusty, and Heart Throb recently.

Wow I'm amazed that someone in an actual lab went to the trouble of testing the ponies!

Those who have baity ponies on display or MOC ponies intact in yellowed packaging how can that not bother you? The reason to collect ponies (or toys in general) is to be able to look at pretty things. But if it's in bad condition it's not pretty at all.

I have a vintage glitter pony somewhere-  NRFB - SORTA.  I mean it has it's backcard and bubble, but the bubble is mostly off due to glue drying up and probably more has come up since very little is attached- the bubble is also quite yellowed and makes the pony look yellowed inside even though she is perfect.  STill, I haven't pulled her out of the package because it's still kinda special and she's the only vintage pony I have that still has her packaging...   I don't normally try to collect MLP packaging, I've long thought I should just sell her to someone who would appreciate the packaging more and get a replacement that just looks very nice :)

Customs / Re: anyone make replica tails?
« on: April 22, 2020, 10:53:33 AM »
I think the biggest problem is- that the cost of nylon is so high- + shipping nylon to crafter, and then a bit of labor to turn the pony tail into a clip, and then ship out to you-  well, you could kinda already do that just by ordering from one of the hair people.

The cost of adding a "middle man" would mean the tail would be more like $10 and in that case, many would prefer to just find a donor tail on ebay.

The other problem is that matching is pretty hard- even though most of the hair sites have suggested matches, it is far from a perfect system and as you know, a lot of the hair can fade a bit-  and there are also some natural variations between nylon batches-  so without having the actual pony in front of you along with the actual hair-  it would be impossible to match perfectly.

Thinking about it - it might actually just be easier to see if RestoreDoll would accept you mailing your pony right to her, for a perfect match.  I wonder if she'd do that?  Probably too busy but it's worth a shot...
