Has this ever happened to you?

Aeithales:
Two and a half years ago, I sort of experienced a *nervous-breakdown*. A lot happened back then and it piled up to a lot more that happened before, so, I had to react somehow. My beloved ponies accepted to become scape-goats and took the blame. They spent all that time locked away. I, actually, couldn't even take a look at them during this period, and this is why I stayed away from the Arena as well.

Well, it's been a few weeks now that I made peace with the past and yesterday, I spent a whole day with my herd - the loose part. I was surprised, as I opened the cupboard at how well the ponies have behaved! I was even more surprised to see a few ponies I didn't even remember having! Apparently, they were my last purchases... What is worst, I couldn't discern my Minties... I was able to tell what is their country of origin, but I cannot remember why I have 4 different Italian and 4 different Argentinean ones  ... So, has this ever happened to you (not the breakdown part, the "you-here-too?" thing)?

And, any links to Italy and Argentina wisdom is more than welcome... ¡Olé!

I had a mini-breakdown about ten years ago now, I lost memories of my childhood, teenage years, and of just after it happened. It's kind of scary but I become used to it, and sometimes I remember things whilst doing something totally unrelated!

I'm really glad you are re-united with your herd, the things (and people) we love take the raw edge of our emotions when we need them too. You know they love you back when they are still there for you aftwerwards :)    And ponies just look at you with their cute little eyes and cheer you up no end! This is why I have all my G1s on shelves at the bottom of my bed. I wake up and see them every morning and they make me smile. And I do have a couple of Baby Cotton Candys and Bow Ties when I have no idea why I kept the doubles...armies in the making lol!

the different italian ponies! there will be 2 feet and 4 feet stamped, airbrushed eyes and stamped eyes and count the number of clovers. i think some have less than others. i also think there are 3 lash and 2 lash versions. there are differences in body colour as well.

the same with the argie ponies, count the number of clovers and the number of eyes lashes ;) there are 2 lash and 3 lash versions.

I've definitely looked at a few ponies in my collection and gone 'When did I buy you??? O_o' Usually when that happens I know it's time for them to go!

I remember a few things, here and there, and I am sure knowledge will come back to me, i just need to "digest" their differences a little bit... It will all come back to me, I am sure. The funny thing, I just realised, I have a HK and a NC Sweet Celebrations Daddy - I actually though HK to have faded! And two different SC sons: one with green forelock and one with pink... WHAT?
