I have her! My mom and I began my collection in the early 2000's and she was the second of my set to collect. I like how yellow she is compared to her non-pearly counterpart.

I found her and a handful of others in a box at a local flea market. Little did I know that box of ponies would end up being the start of a near complete collection...

I went to 7 different Target stores in Colorado and she was at all of them. I didn't know she was previously hard to find.

Thanks, everyone! I love that sweater, but the $$$!!!  Maybe Santa will get it for me on Christmas.I shall keep my eye out for K-Mart mugs and Cracker Barrel/Dollar General tins as the holidays get closer.

Does anyone know what merchandise there is to buy now for 2015 holiday season? Last year there were a couple mugs and some shirts and sweaters. I haven't seen anything for this year yet. Is it still to early to be spotting G1 stuff in stores?
If there is merchandise, where can I get it and what is it? Please and thank you!

When my pony collection and I lived at my parents house, accessories would be in my bathroom drawers, my parents linen closet, and in the kitchen cabinets. I don't know how they all would get there. To this day, I still find accessories I knew I once had. I found the princess buggy wheels in their garage last week! Every week, when I go back over to visit, I look in all nooks and crannies for the off chance I will find ponies or accessories. I usually return home with at least one more pony hair brush.

Black / blue-black tends to be an earlier release, while brown is more commonly found in the later years of G1 after the switch to China manufacture from Hong Kong in non-Nirvanas - neither is more sought after than the other though, they'll fetch the same price. That said, it's quite common to find variations in black/blue-black/brown-black all through the G1 run. Factories weren't very consistent on what constituted 'black'.

Not all ponies got black eyeliner  you can get shades of grey, brown and even navy in the G3 ponies.
I have had a few brown eyed parasols through my hands over time.
It is not always the case the eyeliner colour indicates variation as bluerose mentioned, but it is sometimes a clue especially in the case of the Scandinavian Truly and Cupcake.

Hello everyone, I would like some help! All of my rainbow ponies that I own, and all others for that fact, all have black lining for their eyes. I was cleaning up an extra Parasol that I own and I noticed she has brown lining for her eyes. I tried to research this, and I can't find anything. I don't think she's from another country and I completely forget where I got her. Her right hoof says '83 Hasbro Pat Pend and her left hoof says Hong Kong. But why the brown liner and lashes? Okay, I feel better now. The listing did not mention anything about her symbol, and I would assume the glitter would have come off during deflocking. I guess we will never know. If I ever see one again, I'm definitely getting it. Thank you so much for the response!
