Josie - when you finish the 35 expansion zones, you'll have to expand 45 more.  :/

What happens if you get one of these quests but have already expanded everything? o.o I'm still on the 35 one but have maybe...10 left tops?

Ugh. The game is rolling itself back again  I've wasted a whole 24 hours apparently as I bought Apple Dumpling last night to further the SAA quests and haha, she's been undone tonight!

I wish there was a way to manually save progress rather than trusting the game to have its act together.

Is anyone else finding that the game is rolling itself back a lot? It seems every time I complete a task (or get enough together to buy more expansion for those irritating quests), the next time I go on it's undone itself

The UK is running a "2 for £26" promotion which appears to include everything (aside the super duper Pikachu bundle I believe (they listed most things under the banner but I guess you'll have to add the to the cart to be sure). I got Grumpy Bear and Elliot :D And I just got my SFS rewards voucher too  In total, I saved £17 (£12 on the promotion, £5 off with the voucher) so nearly got on free

When I placed my order yesterday they had Celestia, Twilight, Luna, Muffins, Rainbow Dash, and AppleJack. My experience is that they normally also run this in stores but YMMV on what your local carries (and Grumpy and Muffins are online exclusives).

That looks really cool! I know Discord is popular with children so I think he's a chooice choice for an exclusive. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your opinion), variants of existing figures being a con/shop exclusive is not limited to Hasbro. All of Funko's con exclusives (or nearly all, I don't watch all of their releases) are variants of standard release figures, as well as many of the large Japanese figure companies doing a similar thing. Personally, I prefer it, as it means you are not completely out of luck getting that character if you don't go to the event or can't pay to get it picked up/imported/buy it second hand, etc,  because ~exclusive~. It is lazy compared to the last few things they have had, yes.
It's a shame Fluttershy wasn't a unique mould (if they had modelled her after the box art that would have been amazing), though she has the moulded hair which is a nice touch. I think she would have looked out of place in the box with him if she had been a brushable.

I don't think it's interesting enough to justify the cost of importing, though, so I'll wait for whenever we see the GoH sets here and get the regular one :)

There are a few other characters I would like to see, but I'd really like them to be regular releases and not exclusive to anything, or in a huge set like Minty or the smaller Bubbles/Dizzy/Muffins pony. A wave of just boy ponies! Can you imagine?

Do blindbags count?

I found one on the floor today outside a huge shopping centre in a city I don't live in. Stepped on/kicked it and looked down thinking I had dropped something but, nope!, blind bag PeachyPie!

The DS ones here are definitely more sought after, they tend to be better quality than the others. They definitely aren't all made equally, target ones tend to be overstuffed and suffer from quality issues for instance. If you're not a picky collector the differences are minute, but its enough for some people to not buy anything but authentic DS tsums.

If you send me a list I'll see if I have any extras of what you're looking for :)

Oh okay. I've never really compared the two or noticed a difference aside the DS exclusive ones so that makes some sense :) I've never really looked too closely tbh. I'm not that picky

Thank you for the offer, but since the USPS price increases, buying from the US is too expensive :(

Man, the resell price of these is crazy. I joined a group on FB hoping to get a couple of gaps filled as I don't have a single store in my city that sells them, and people are asking at least 2-3x the retail price of current Tsums?  Is there a reason why DS ones are more valuable than the ones sold in TRU, etc? Because here, DS's are the cheapest by far  Guess I won't be buying any I don't find the wild :(

I hope it's over. I'm still on stage one of the quest and I can't afford to pour gems into this :( I really hope all the party trash disappears with the quest, else it'll be super expensive getting rid of it all...

I'd reaally love to go, it looks a lot of fun! Unfortunately, not enough fun to justify dropping a good £1000 on a plane ticket for. I'll have to see if I can arrange my Quebec trip in 2017 to coincide, though it's earlier in the year than I was hoping for  >_<

Maybe London next year, GSC?

Pony Corral / Re: Tell Me About Car Boot Sales?
« on: April 30, 2016, 10:06:45 AM »
Hello! *waves* You're coming to my neck of the woods  I'm not sure about Oxford city itself, as there are not a great many fields suitable for car boots, but if you go a little outside to Abingdon and the surrounding towns then you'll find some (Peachcroft and Drayton are probably the most busy). I will forewarn you, though, in my times carbooting I have only ever found a couple of G3s. I hope you have more luck than I have, though!

My advice would be to go to any pitches where the seller has toys or children's clothing. Normally they'll be in big boxes (bring ALL the hand sanitiser because most people don't bother to clean these before taking them out  :X ) and you'll have to dig around. It might be worth asking but it could give someone the wrong idea and they might charge more  Near Swindon there is a huge indoor carboot sale that is VERY good (not for ponies necessarily, but I found a Hasbro Pokemon plush brand new with tags for 30p there) but you'd need a car to get to it.

I just need one speaker  I'm not sure I want to drop 5gems on it when I don't know if it'll clear stage one or not  -_-

I've been debating it, and I was thinking of maybe getting Luna and/or Celestia, in their "storybook" versions from the first episode of FiM:

Not sure where. Maybe on the fleshy bits on the front of my shoulders...

ETA: (I think the forum ate some of my post D: ) I'm so sorry about your cat  I lost my kitty last year to suspected cancer
Spoiler
(the vet said he believed he could feel a tumour but she passed away before we could have scans done)
. I have her paw print tattooed on my wrist, and I hope to get my other cats' prints done eventually as well. I'm sure your idea will look great :D

Hasbro, I have a new idea for her! How about, she's not exclusive this time?

To Oxford people - I asked my insider source and apparently Boswells seem to consider MLP on a seasonal basis, esp at Christmas. As far as she can gather, there's no imminent plans to stock these guys (although no reason why they might not eventually get there).

Going by G1 theory, though, Hasbro did seem to be more fond of putting new ponies out in the summer/autumn. So maybe that will happen here. Remember, it's Hasbro UK we're dealing with over here, so their rules apply.

That's interesting! I don't get to go too often, but that lines up about right with when they last had a huge display! Thank you  ^.^
