Eeyore DONE! (mostly) 11/16

So I'm having fun recreating one of my favorite Childhood Winnie the Pooh characters... Eeyore! So far it's going great, I'm loving how the ears turned out, and I'm struggling along with the tail, I want it to be removeable, so it's proving a challenge.

I want some opinions here on the eyes... I really like the purple color, do you all agree? Should I leave Eeyore's eyes purple?

Update!: He now has a tail, and it's totally adorable, and it moves, the nail, tail and body are independent, so the tail can move

Update #2:
So I got the fur and everything and decided to finish him up :3 I'm lacking pink ribbon right now though, so just to make him look good until then, I used a green ribbon :3

I thought so too :3 he was a SUPER baity lemondrop, head and body mismatch, cancer spots all over, eye rub, ear chewed, it was bad
