I actually have all three and their respective play sets that they came with. My NBBE half note came out of the Goodwill bins... was a very bizarre day for sure.

Starting from the very beginning of MLP this year. Will continue to dedicate the first few days to birthday ponies in celebration of those born within that month.

Hard pass. BBE Half -Note is creepy, and I often forget Sleepy Pie exists for long periods of time. I'd take playset Half-Note though.

I really love sleepy pie. I got her and then the BBE werent so bad they grew on me. I have a half note with and without BBEs

Why do you never find Baby Sleepypie with nice symbols? They are always very faded

Hard pass. BBE Half -Note is creepy, and I often forget Sleepy Pie exists for long periods of time. I'd take playset Half-Note though.

This is how I feel as well.  I know I had BBE Half-note as a kid, but I think I traded her to one of my friends <.<

A long time ago I had a Baby Sleepy Pie, but I sold it because it was in poor condition.

I have BBE Half Note and *think* I have a Sleepy Pie? Not even sure if I've acquired one in a lot or not.

Weird question: Sleepy Pie came with the purse, which was available before the BBE ponies were released. What pony came with the purse before BBE ponies were in existence? Or am I mistaken? I feel like I had a pamphlet showing the purse with a white, standard-eyed pony.

That's right, Baby Crumpet did come with a purse! But did she exist before Baby Sleepy Pie? I need to dig that pamphlet up to see.

I'm not sure but I think Baby Sleepy Pie came first in the pink purse and Baby Crumpet was next with the purple purse.

I have Baby Sleepy Pie and Baby Half Note.  I have no idea what happened to the Pony Purse though.

Have Playset Pose Baby Half Note (who was also part of the old collection with her school), & her school. Also have Sleepy Pie, but missing her purse

I have the regular Baby Half Note as a childhood pony (with the dance school, and the menagerie...whose names I can't all remember, but I think there was Pandora, and Iris, and maybe a Yolande? among them..?) and also my friend's childhood Baby Half Note,  who has different colour eyes. The BBE one I picked up at a carboot sale.

As far as I understand it the UK had BBE with the playset in stores first, and then via mail order/tokens, and then the regular eyed one came out after. I don't have the box for my dance school any more, but from the rainbow on the boxes I've seen, it looks that way. I think mine may have been sometime in 1987 but I'd have to check my photographs.


Sleepy Pie was from the carboot sale too. She seems to have had a mysterious means of being sold here in the UK, but I'm still a bit vague as to how, since her purse wasn't sold here as far as I know.

She doesn't seem uncommon here, though, so maybe it was imported.

I have Baby Sleepy Pie with her pink purse - it was actually only a couple of years ago that I learned the purse went with Sleepy Pie I got them both ages ago, probably with some lot since I don't collect BBEs. But so far my collecting policy has been to keep everything that comes in, unless it's a double, and that's what I've done. The more the merrier!! Sleepy Pie is rather cute, to be honest.
