Well, I finally figured out why all may packages keep taking forever to show up or don’t show up at all. Turns out my paypal address changed the last digit, and it’s my neighbours address now. They’re new neighbours, and I feel so embarrassed. I’m going to try and see them tomorrow and explain myself...not sure how to approach the topic. “Oh hey, sorry all these random packages might keep showing up, I can’t type correctly it seems.” We don’t talk much to our neighbours, so I have no clue how to do this. Especially with the pandemic making people refuse to open their doors to strangers.

Could you put a note through their door explaining and apologising for the mix up?
Possibly. They seem like alright people (the last residents of that house were...less than ideal neighbours) and I would like to apologize. I’ve had time to think about it, because I never make mistakes like that. I’ve never had to apologize for a typing error with postal services. But I’ll try that if they don’t want to open the door to a stranger.
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

I hate all those idiots on motorbikes who always go out of their way to make us much noise as possible to make sure everyone knows they have a motorbike

Three months in lockdown.

And...they look like they won't review shielding till June 30th.

Have fun all the people who can 'safely' go shopping (if it is, indeed, safe...)

My family got a smart tv about a month ago.  We tried to watch a movie in Netflix through the tv last night but the movie kept stopping, pixelating and losing sound so we ended up  just putting a DVD in instead.  Netflix has worked through the TV before but we’ve also had trouble with Netflix through the  TV 2 out of the 5 times we’ve tried it.

My head and sinuses hurt. I'm thinking of taking some antihistamines but they always knock me out and leave me feeling groggy. Not that I have anything to do really. I just hate that foggy feeling.

I first heard the G3/3.5 theme a few days ago.

It's been horribly stuck in my head ever since.

I keep humming or whistling it at random intervals throughout the day. Constantly.

Delivery people trying to deliver things we didn't order because someone gave them the wrong address.

Especially when it means MUM opening the door, which she isn't meant to do.

Gah.

I don't know why my arm, shoulder and neck hurt so much but it's really interfering with everything.

My new 3D puzzle is missing a piece. I think the manufacturer will replace my puzzle but this is the 2nd time that pieces were missing from a sealed puzzle made by this company.

Teeny-tiny fruit flies have erupted from somewhere, I have gone through all our fruit and veg and checked the soil in the houseplant pots... can't see where they are coming from.

Can only catch them if I wet my hands and swipe at them - they stick to my skin then I can dispose of them... but yet more appear!

So annoying, especially when they fly up in my face and mock me!!

Now using an old-fashioned glass wasp catcher but, instead of jam, am using apple cider vinegar. I can see about 10 in there already, having a bit of a party!

Fairy liquid in water in a mister spray. >.>

...So mine is a very first world and selfish kind of complaint but...

Today I discovered they finally made an iteration of a Japanese game I like set in one of the historical periods that I'm interested in. BUT they also changed which console they run the games of this series on. So in order to play it I would need to buy a new console and the game as well of course.

..Neither of which is really in my budget right now.

It's really trivial but it would've been so much better if they had done this for the previous iteration.

Good call! I will prepare some to zap the stragglers!

Perhaps not "trivial" but certainly a complaint:
(spoilered as it may be triggering)

Spoiler

Last night there was a multiple stabbing and fatalities in a historic town centre park (Forbury Gardens, on the site of ancient Reading Abbey) - a place that was part of my childhood and a hang-out during my teenage years.

Earlier, some folks had a peaceful BLM protest, finished, went home. All good.

A couple of hours later, other folks have a relaxing picnic and a few al-fresco beers enjoying the sunshine, as they have always done.

Then a man with a knife attacked random groups, leading to this awful tragedy; so, so sad.

The town centre is closed-off; my Dad called me last night to say the whole neighbourhood was posting messages on local WhatsApp groups, hearing the sirens, watching the helicopters circling above.

And then some dude at the park goes round with his phone videoing it (including CPR, blood) very, VERY graphic, posting it on Twitter. Dude, some of those victims were dying and you go ahead and post those images before their families even knew about it. Have some respect for those poor people.  :shakefist:
