She's cute! And I agree, the colour combo is great. I especially like the yellowish leg gradients.

The key thing about drawing is practice, and passion of course, something that gives you the motivation to practice. But the most important thing is to enjoy it. I'm sure you can do it if you want to. ^^ My first pony drawings were simple ideas for customs, and they looked nothing like MLP. x)

Everything Griffin said! it takes a huge lot of practicing and observation at the things you want to draw. At first it can be really heartbreaking, but bit a bit you will keep making progress, and if you cant see it, just compare the first drawings you made with the newest ;D
