Are all the NSS ponies Nirvana? :O I've had NSS Shady for the longest time and I've always wondered if she was considered Nirvana.

Shady with out flocking was released in Europe as part of the "Movie Star" set, along with Gusty, Wind Whistler and North Star etc. She was also released as part of the "My Little Pony: Pony Friends" which was sold in Scandinavia and a few other places.Info in the link's below!http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/1986_mylittlepony.htmhttp://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/shady.htmThe "non so soft" ponies are not nirvana, but rather regional exclusive ponies. They were put under the nirvana umbrella when the term "nirvana" was coined. Now we understand more about their release pattern, they are not really considered nirvana Truly and Cupcake are hard to find though and pretty special Here is some more information on Truly http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/truly.htmLove pkw xxx
Wow I didn't know this. I have had NSS Truly on my wanted list for so long, but I just assume she was a UK regular pony and not a Nirvana. I also have NSS Cupcake on my list. I seem to learn something new every day. This also makes me wonder if I will ever get this pony lol as I have wanted her for a long time. I am only slowly starting to collect Nirvana ponies.

Since then we have come to understand her release pattern, we now understand she is an exclusive release, rather than a nirvana in the "true" sense. This is because she was made in Hong Kong, rather than any of the other countries that we associate with nirvanas. Don't despair, she crops up more often than you think! Try searching for her in the Scandinavian countries as that was one of the places she and Cupcake was distributed Love pkw xxx
Sometime eBay isn't always the best place to find some ponies. You will have more luck on a collectors Facebook page or the Scandinavian version of eBay, whose name I have forgotten Love pkw xxx
