I've looked for a thread like this and I haven't had any luck... I thought it would be fun to have a thread that compiles the original names that we've come up with for our CAMs and OCs. I think it's a cool way to share our creativity, and maybe also avoid copying names too? Here are mine:

Awesome idea for a thread! Whenever I'm struggling to think of a name, I search online to see what other people have named their CAMs. More often than not, I can only find one or two named CAMs. It'll be nice to have a sort of repository of names.

I recently listed mine in the CAM Appreciation thread, but I'll post them again here:

I need to take a group shot of my CAMs too. I had been waiting for the bee and three-eyed ghouls I purchased back in March, but they don't look like they're actually going to show up any time soon, if at all, so I'll have to take the photo without them ...

Haha your recent photoset was actually part of what got me thinking to start this thread! Luna Lycan-Thorpe is one of the best CAM names I've seen. I also love Cate_Dartfinger's Augusta Gloop.

I'm glad you like it. I wasn't all that keen on Luna, but I couldn't think of anything better and I'm a sucker for alliteration. I considered having my blob girl's last name be Gloopington, but again I liked the alliteration of Blobara Ann Blobington better.

I love alliteration too, that's why my vamp Drusilla ended up being Drusilla Dresden, even though Harry Dresden is a wizard. Blobara Ann cracks me up, because my uncle's ex-wife is named Barbara Ann, and her body shape could very easily be described as "blob-like"...

How do you find pets for them? Do you use LPS? I have seen a few people do that.

Blobara Ann cracks me up, because my uncle's ex-wife is named Barbara Ann, and her body shape could very easily be described as "blob-like"...

LOL! I was inspired by The Beach Boys' "Barbara Ann". I wanted something 60s-ish to go with her flip hairdo. I've also put her in one of Frankie's frocks and she looks just like a 60s housewife.

I use LPS but i repaint them (especially their eyes) I also use other small animals like Bratz pets, Puppy in my pocket...pretty much any animal I can find in that size range gets set aside for future cams , Although, I WILL say, I couldn't find a chicken in that size, so I ended up just making one out of sculpy and may eventually do the same for Jinafire's Qilin
