Okay, I have been wanting to post about this for the past couple of days but it's all been a "maybe" until a few minutes ago.

I am diving head first into resin, because why not? For a while I thought I'd look for something cheap just to see how I liked it, but ever since I first started contemplating getting a BJD, there has been one brand and type of doll that has always been a secret grail. The Soom teenie gem Centaurs. So for the past few months as I've been browsing DoA there's been one I had my eye on, and a couple of days ago I said screw dipping my toes in the water, let's go for it!

So I'm insanely excited to say that my first resin BJD will be my grail! Soom Aloa :D :D :D

(Sorry I know this post is of no substance but I needed to brag somewhere where other people would get excited with/for me XD)

SOOO jealous! I love Soom, but cannot afford them and am bad at saving money, haha. S/He's a beauty, and I can't wait to see what you do to her/him.

There are pics on DoA, but there's not much to see. She (I'm planning on making it female) has never been painted, so she's a blank canvas :D

HOLY COW THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!!!  I love SOOM's dolls and the centaurs are so freaking cute.  I'm so happy for you, I can't wait to see pics!  I love my SOOM girl, she's really well-cast and so super sweet.  I hope you love yours as well.  I think that a dappled centaur would be amazing.

*happy dance* Just sent my first payment! Now I can oficially start looking at wigs and faceup artsits. I have been looking for the past couple of days but kept telling myself "omg stop looking you are going to jinx yourself!"

YAY!!!!!!!! I still only have only one ( bobobie espree)  as I can't afford another yet..... but yeah they are well worth every penny :squee: congrats!!! :squee: my bobobie was a 'cheap' one so im hoping to get a slightly more expensive one next time.

Nope, mine is blank and has never had any faceup, so a nice blank canvas to play with ^_^
