Some doll fakies (MH and Moxie Girls - with pics!)

I am searching for some possible doll clothes I could use for my Moxie Teenz Tristen (whom I got nude and bald ), and for this reason I picked up the habit of looking at doll auctions on a local auction site. I noticed these girls among the recommended auctions, and I thought I'd just share some photos ^^

what's with the fixed-tangled hair? I can only hope it can be tamed. the laptop is pretty much an odd accessory, but maybe that's only me... and where are those "tons of accessories" they promise on the box?
still, I kind of like this second Maxie doll, I'm playing with the thought of getting one (they go for a little less than $10, assuming it's a fakie it distracts me for now, maybe after the holidays).

Those Maxie girls look so weird compared to regular Moxie Girlz, they're in Bratz bodies so I don't think their clothes will fit regular MG and their box art is CREEPY. ;

I wish I knew so far I have only seen these online, so all the info I have is basically what is seen in these pics. their body doesn't seem MH-like (not only the lack of articulation), so I think it's a copy of another resin. I am more than happy to try and ask the seller if you want me to ^^ but I don't think they will be much help, I read in one of the questions they aren't familiar with MH (one of the buyers was searching for a Spectra, not recognising these aren't actual MH, and the seller answered they don't know them by names, and the buyer told them the names are on the box). still they may have an opened doll and could measure waist, bust and such - that could help.

ooooo, I just noticed those awful red uniform boots they wear regardless of whether they fit the dress or not *yikes*
also they just seem to randomly switch clothes (and also parts of clothes) O.o there are a few I really like though.

yeah, that girl in the bottom right freaked me out too and the dolls seem to be of worse quality too, especially that hair... I really dislike the blonde streak of the first one. but for some reason I find the second one kind of cute.
oh, that would be sad though... I was never really interested in Bratz, are they smaller or bigger compared to Moxies? if they really were Bratz-sized bodywise, they could at least share shoes (I read they can't originally) if not clothes, that could be nice.

Yeah, that one scared the living crap out of me in the bottom corner. Brats are slightly smaller than MG, I think some of the clothes fit, but are snug, and the shoes have bigger or smaller feet pegs than MG, I can't remember.

Their hair is crazy everywhere and messy. I kinda liked the blonde streak, but would look better if the hair part was more to the side than on the center.

Wow, those are really interesting.  The MH outfits are....kinda jumbled feeling.  I would worry about the hair too, but they would be neat to se in person.

When I clicked on Vintergatan's photo to look at Lala-with-puppy's joints, I noticed her lace leggings. Nice! But then again, they're not actually leggings. Her um... crotch region is nude so I'm wondering if those are tubes becase they're not covering her feet. Interesting clothes there, fakie-makers!

huh, Vintergatan, that's a huge bunch of fakies O.o they're invading everything but at least the ones you found seem to be somewhat better in quality than "mine".
I have also seen more fakies since I posted these, I'll upload pics later.

also, since that I have bumped into the Maxie Girlz in a shop, and I must say I am no longer playing with the thought of getting one. they look so ugly in real life I can't even imagine how much these pics have been photoshopped

I love the fakie with the green skin & blue & black hair, such a pretty face. I know I'm in the minority, but some of the fakies I prefer because I don't like some of the MH dolls' noses & the arched backs. thanks for posting the pics, pming you

They sell those Maxie Girlz in a shop near my house, I was tempted to get one just for the clothes to see what they would fit.
They look to be pretty terrible quality though, on a few the shoulder joints were pink-red and really stood out against their skin
