"I feel an urge to run" - An unsuspecting date who got invited to Sundaygirls apartment. It was said jokingly but he was a bit shocked facing my collection.

"If you ever find a pony you don't already have, I want you to know I'm COMPLETELY fine with you buying it". - Ex boyfriend. You mean like a couple of ponies every month, right? And do you honestly think I have almost all the ponies in the world? And by the way, who asked for your permission?

"Is that all you got?" - sundaygirls SO the first time he saw the collection. Yep, he is the one.

Well the seller I got Gusty, Main Sail, and Caramel Crunch from had Windy, Sunspot, Sweet Tooth, and Love Letter.

Well Love Letter was placed on bidding for £12 but with make a offer, well offered £47 for all four (Sunspot, Windy, Sweet Tooth, and Love Letter).

Well the seller said that Love Letter goes for £50 (I think a near mint costs this much)

But her Love Letter had a really bad hair cut on her mane (so she won’t be worth £50) So she asked for £25 for her. Well tried to haggle the price down but she wouldn’t budge.

So had to pay £25 for her, £12 for Sweet Tooth, £8 for Sunspot, and £10 for Windy. Not going to buy from that Seller again.

That’s all my birthday money gone.

I'm not quite sure I get this. Why did you have to buy the ponies if they were overpriced?

To be honest I don't think $15 for a G1 Cotton Candy in near mint/excellent condition (if that's what we talking about) is too over priced.

Yes, you could probably get one cheaper elsewhere, but it isn't that way off.

And as others have mentioned, what you are willing to pay may depend on a couple of things. If I can buy from a collector in Europe with good reputation who provides detailed pictures right away, I am happy to pay a couple of extra € for a hopefully smooth transaction without oversea shipping.

If you are getting rid of old, unused or out of date medications please return them to a pharmacy for proper disposal ^.^ you don't want medication to end up in the environment because of landfills.

Love pkw xxx

Yep, that's the way to go. :)

Juliepants: I'm impressed! A move is often a good occasion to do a big clear out.

I'm glad to see more people taking the challenge.  :) Welcome LadyMoondancer and Buddyboymama and good start!

What Melodys_angel said. And you can always come back in the future if you want to. I have been inactive here for long periods due to RL and not really having the same interest in ponies all the time. But somehow I always find my way back here. :)

I got through round 1 of getting rid of old paperwork at least. Pulled out all the bulky doll accessory boxes that were really unnecessary as well. I had 3 doll totes for that collection, after adding the last doll to it I still have about 1/4 of the room left in one instead of them all being jam packed lol.

Reminded me to go through my misc dolls, though I have a much smaller amount ☺

Bekuno: I'm thinking of trying to sell some of my things too, but I'm a bit thorn. A part of me just want to get rid of it to charity real quick, since it's most things I could get like 1-2 dollars for, it doesn't seem worth the fuss. But I will probably try to sell a few easily sold items. Good luck with your selling ☺

I keep on with the closets and have updated my list.

Duenia: looks like a great goal list!

After a stressful week, I finally got time to continue my cleaning out. I chosed to clean out one of my "horror lockers", you know the kind of locker you try not to open because you fear your stuff will jump out and attack you.  ;) Will update my list in a minute.

How are you other doing?

Thank you everyone for support  :) I'm glad that some of you will join in.

Honeycomb: It must be a big challenge to get everything to fit into a suitcase. I know how busy moving can be.

Thunderwing: Good job. You are already ahead of me.  :)

Kazzellin: You don't have to get rid of 50 things. You can set your own goal if you want to.

BTW: I haven't got rid of anything today, but I aim to update my list tomorrow.

A couple of years ago I participated in a thread here with the theme "getting rid of 50 things". It is what it sounds like: We clean out our lockers, closets, storehouses etc, and throw away, give away or maybe sell everything we don't need.

To make it easier to keep up the good work, we post here and encourage each other.

My home is in need of a big clean out and I will update this post like an online journal so you can follow my struggle or participate your self.  My only rule is that same things count as one thing, so if I have thrown away 50 newspapers for example, I will list it as one thing, not as 50 (that would be way too easy.)

I started today by cleaning out some of my closets. I am that kind of person always thinking "but this old shirt isn't that bad, I sure can have it sometimes... uhm.. maybe in the woods... like the other ten shirts in laying in the same shelf". Today I was hard on my self and gathered a huge bag that went straight to the nearest charity shop and a smaller bag with clothes in worse condition that will be thrown away. Mission accomplished.

List of things I got rid of
1. Clothes
2. A carpet with permanent stains.
3. An old bag.
4. An old and dirty pillow.
5. A broken key chain.
6. Knitting projects I finally come to terms with could not be saved in any way.
7. A cloth.
8. Things I'm not even sure what it was.
9. Worn out shoes.
10. Two old handbags.
11. A beret not used in five years.
12. Old receipts.
13. Old medicine.

I liked the movie. It was sweet and felt thorough, with a "Harry Potter"-feeling over it. I'm a sucker for the 20ths fashion too, so it was a bonus for me. :)

I love it! It seems so well done. And I'm also a Bowie fan.  :)

I'd say she goes rather high. She's common, but prone to symbol rust. And white ponies often tend to yellow over time. That's make her more uncommon in nm condition.

I believe I paid like $15 or a little more (can't really remember) for mine in that condition. But that was a couple of years ago so I don't know if prices have changed since.

Haha, I see we are also both citizens of Mordor. :D

Yeah, I figure Mordor is a bit like Stockholm in the winter. :P

So im curious, what are the beaches like there in Sweden? I bet the water is still really chilly even in summer! xD Im a huge ocean lover and if I visit Sweden I would love to know a good beach!

Yes, Sweden can be a bit chilly even in the summer. But if you go by july or the beginning of august there is a good chance for sunny weather and at least 68 F in the water. And we have actually quite a lot of nice beaches.

Oh, good initiative! And also great to see some American-Swedes here. As you said, there are many swedes with ancestors who migrated.

I currently live in Stockholm, but grew up in different places in the north of Sweden. I'm 30-something and loved mlp as a child.

Back in 2006 I found my old ponies in my store room. Out of curiosity I decided too google "my little pony" to see if they were worth something. I think ya'll can figure out how it ended up.  I have been a collector since and was a member of druvis a couple of years. I'm a bit on and off in my collecting and activity here, but I always come back eventually.
