The song is cute, and I still love the backgrounds. Maybe because it's just a short trailer, but the animation seems underwhelming and kinda stiff...? Even for puppet/tween animation. Not really what I was expecting from this style. FiM's animation was better, and since people want to compare TTG!, I think the animation in that is better, too. Maybe the stubby style limits it a bit?

And is it just me or do the ponies, like... not walk? The clip where Rainbow Dash is going backwards and the scene with everyone going through the door they look like they're kinda just... sliding around...?

That is really strange 


I’ve already checked out of this series pretty hard. It feels like they just hyper-magnified one or two of each of the character’s traits and have them bouncing around the screen doing that thing, with no real substance. I can’t.
I’m sure I’ll watch a little of it just out of curiosity, like I’ve watched this trailer, but I already felt like FiM lost a lot of substance towards the end and this reboot almost seems offensive to me as a G4 fan. Like, of all the things I ever hoped for as improvements on G4 and FiM, they are going the opposite direction.

I’m not entirely sold on the idea, but I am optimistic. Though I do have a problem with the animation. The g4 show knew it’s limits and how to push them in terms of expressions, and how to pull them back in. Maybe it’s because the clips are without context, but some of these just seem too over the top. I get the sense it won’t have much by way of world building though, which is always something I enjoyed. We got to see conflicts with magical dastardly foes. They built an entire planet of strange and wonderful creatures. I feel this...just won’t have those elements that make FIM (especially in the later seasons) as good as it was. I liked the new creatures, and want to see more of that.
     Based on the animation style, music feel and the few episode teasers...I’m going to say this is in another direction from FIM. Not that that’s a bad thing, but it just...I know I’m not the target demographic here, and maybe kids now like this sort of over the top expressive, underwhelming everything else. But I’m hesitant. I’ll watch out of curiosity before my final judgement, but I’m not really super excited.

My first impression is that this series feels as relevant as shaking car keys in front of a toddler to keep it distracted. 
I can't say much more, it's only a trailer. Though, it feels obnoxious and random.

That's the crux of it, that are hoping for a nice little cash grab hoping to get some sweet sweet ad revenue that Teen Titans Go has been raking in (is cartoon Network still the TTG network? I haven't had cable for almost a year now). That's probably part of why it comes across so flat

TTG has some self aware jokes, I wonder if Pony Life will be self aware that it is a dumbed down cash grab

Animation wise, I don't see much that makes me want to watch it. I thInk this is very much for young kids without much to interest older audiences

Not sure if I feel too good about it.

I can't help but feel it primarily exists to cash in on the last of G4's popularity. Heightened by the fact that the animation looks... uninspired? Kind of a generic modern-2D-cartoon-like style to it.

I probably will watch a few episodes out of curiosity, but I doubt I'll get invested in it.

But I could be pleasantly surprised.

I believe they’re unlisted so the press can have exclusive access. This actually happens with a lot of stuff.

Can't say I'm looking any more forward to it than I have been. It seems loud and obnoxious, and the animation's not at all easy on my eyes. Also the theme song is incredibly generic. This still seems more like some fanmade MLP parody series than an official one.

I don’t really have any thoughts on this trailer, but I will probably skip it; doesn’t look like my kind of show.
