I'm actually not as excited anymore about collecting ponies. Luckily, Monster High has been filling that void for me. I wish they'd start releasing more new characters so I could get excited about ponies again. I'd especially love to see more boy ponies.

Agreed. I have been dying for a decent Big McIntosh, some Wonderbolts and Time Turner, maybe even Flim & Flam!

I'm really not seeing the reasoning behind releasing the same six ponies over and over again. It doesn't appeal to collectors and surely parents are going to be saying no you already have that one, I am not buying you another one just for a bit of tinsel/plastic tea cups/whatever the new thing is for these. They're just not different enough to the ponies we've been seeing for months. :/

You know what would have been exciting Hasbro? Translucent ponies. Minty. Or anything that wasn't the same old mane six again but with slightly differing accessories. Siiiiiiigh.

   I suppose getting the Crystal Empire mane 6 will only really excite the MIB collectors, I already have the mane 6 (I collect and unbox) and some repeats. The only mane 6 I will be looking for are those with differences (like the bangs/no bangs version etc)

I agree, we need more variety in our playful ponies.  Needs Minty, Pony and more babies and boys.

I would be lying if I said I was surprised. Re-releases is kinda what I'm expecting these days and if I ever come across a new pony from Hasbro I will be thrilled, but I'm not counting on it. In the meantime I'm working on completeing my other generations and my Pinkie and Fluttershy army

Its g3 core all over again I mean g3s got out a hand there for awhile with so many different ponies but it made it more interesting and gave us more choices.

It's funny how the gen that a lot of people claim is one of the best, actually has the most boring toyline.
It's also sad when the merch becomes more interesting than the main product. There really is no excuse for this many re-releases. I at least hope they will do something fun with these. Than i might pick up Rarity.

Yeah I totally get why they keep doing the rereleases but it would be better to see some new faces mixed in too. And how about some boy ponies while we're at it?

They spent the money to make moulds for the baby ponies and boy ponies...and yet, don't use them...? That makes perfect sense. Now all of my doubles will have tripples and quadruples to talk to so they won't be lonely. :/ But since I'm not wasting money on the SAME ponies...yeah, good job Hasbro. (not : P )
