What is in a name?

Actually, her "brony" name of Derp.y Hooves is one of the very very few fanon names I really like. Personally I think Ditzy Doo just sounds really stupid so I never call her that. Bubblecup is actually really cute sounding to me and I'd love it for another pony, but I can't see Miss Derp being called that since it just doesn't feel right to me. To each their own

I refer to her as "the googly-eyed pony" when I'm describing her to my fiance, who isn't a brony   I don't understand all the controversy over her either, since I always just thought of her as clumsy or goofy, not mentally impaired.

I like the name Bubblecup, but I rarely refer to her as anything.  I think that I'm in the minority and don't care much for the pony, so she never really comes up in conversation for me

I guess I really need to watch the episode/episodes with Pony to figure out what all the fuss is about What season and what episode is she in? I've seen her as a background character in a few episodes, but does she have a main part in any?

As for her name, I'm not bothered either way by Pony, Ditzy Doo, Bubblecup, etc. I don't really know that much about her and am not into gray ponies. But at least Snuzzle has a gray buddy now

This subject has been talked to death, so I won't bother to re-voice my opinion on why the D-name is problematic. But suffice it to say, I enjoy these names:

I'm jumping on the "Bubblebutt" train. Best possible name for a pony ever. I'm still fine with her fanon name; it's easier to call her that since everybody knows who you're talking about.

For me, I have a habit of calling G2 Teddy > "Paws" since she has that big paw print symbol! I like the name Paws more anyway. To me, Teddy is used too much in too many things..
