I've got a friends wedding tomorrow which is distracting mem somewhat tbh! But then after that I will be V excited! I haven't done my comp entry yet which is bugging the hell out of me, and then with the hand incident, I'm hoping I can still get it done. I love that we're in the actual hotel though :-) xxx

I am there :D It's my first ponycon without my lovely friend Meru-Desu as shes having an amazing time in Japan but I still can't wait XD

I can't wait either! It's going to be my third time with my husband and for the first time my mum (who collects!) is coming too, with my dad :) It's going to be so much fun!

So did I, but with the travel and hotel and spending money it's near on £300 and I'm going on holiday on the 8th oct so I can't justify the money :( :cry:

i no we havent had this one yet lol but does anyone no when 2013 will be announced ? i cant go this year its way to far for me but im planning on going next year and saving a ton of monies for ponies lol

We can be in the 'not going' group together. Con is a bit too far for me to travel and I don't really have the funds. I hope everyone who is going has an awesome time :D

This will be my first con and I will be coming on the Saturday with my 4 year old daughter. I haven't told her yet. Will leave it until on the day! I'm thinking about my pony pennies though. Having never been to one before and will be looking to purchase mostly g1's and g3's (nothing fancy or MIB) just to build up our collection, what would be a reasonable amount to expect to spend?

That really depends on which ponies you're looking for. G3s, at least the common ones, you can mostly get without spending too much money. The prices for G1s vary greatly, though, depending on which ponies you're after. I think everyone goes to the Con with a different budget, and more often than not, you need to do a little re-adjusting. ;)

I took about 40 GBP with me and spent most of it. XD But to be fair you will always find really good deals down there and it's a bit cheaper than shopping online since you don't need to deal with shipping costs.

I will take ... a lot whit me xD Since I will be flying in from Sweden I want to get my money well spent and come home whit alot of nice ponies/pony stuff! :frolic:
Maybe it should be the other way around.... cost much going there= not much spending money :shrug:... oh well! :happy:

im coming ! the ticket is a birthday present from my BF :) i love him ! he's coming to as gets to carry the bags he he he !!! he's good at spoting ponies i dont have to as he helped me photograph my collection :)

Its a long way off having confirmed dates yet but Ponycon usually takes place in October so you will have a whol year to prepare from now!
Next years Ponycon will be very special as it will be the 10th year!

It's my first one too and I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited. I'm staying with a friend who lives in Nottingham rather than at the hotel, will I miss out on much (apart from the Pony Ninjas)?

My third one (my sole claim to fame is I was the sketch artist at the very First ponycon in Morecambe!!)
I got lucky, got the twelve week rate for train tickets and got Blackpool>long eaton return for £52!! :D Yeehaw!
I'm arriving at about 5ish on the Friday so no members day for me. Still debating the disco however.
