Well, I've just found these set on the shelves at Jusco/Aeon today. I was at Toys R Us and Metrojaya earlier and didn't see them at either stores tho, so I assume that they're either Jusco exclusives or Jusco is getting them first.

Anyways, yeah, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy Bath set (Crystal Sparkle Bath), Cadance and Twilight Sparkle set (Crystal Jewel Salon) and the Design-A-Pony ponies are now in - at least, in Jusco stores.

Ok, so I just dropped in Aeon Shopping Center (Formally Jusco) Bukit Tinggi and was surprised to see that they have half of an aisle and a display case full of ponies! Prior to this their collection of Hasbro stuff has been flaky, mostly Transformers with some Nerf guns with a little bit of LPS, but now they have them ponies!

They have the latest wave of the Pony Wedding brushables (no DVD with the ponies tho), the pony wedding sets, the CMC Wedding fillies, Royal Castle Friends, and Fashion Style Celestia and Luna, as well as the Wedding Castle.

Just wondering if anyone here is willing to help me pick up a Crystal Princess Ponies collection set from Target.com. Apparently it's not sold in stores, and vPost's concierge services refuses to handle buying one for me. And I'm not seeing any on Amazon or eBay.

I can pay by PayPal, and can arrange to pay first, in two parts- the first payment of US$19.99 for the set in advance, and additional payment for shipping to your address and to Malaysia for the second part. Or if you want, I can trade for an Applejack and Star Dreams set (if they're still available, they're starting to become scarce lately).

So I've been thinking about how some members in the arena have been asking for an app to help them manage their pony collection. I have worked with several programming languages in the past and have developed apps, but not for Apple iDevices before. So I've decided to take a crack at it just to see what I can do and use this as a learning experience. There's no guarantee that this will result in a pony collection management app appearing in the app store, but if there's enough demand for it, I just might consider publishing it. I'll explain why later on in the post, but first, I have a few questions about how the app will be used.

1. Aside from the basic information (pony name, generation, colors (mane color, tail color, body color, etc), cutie mark, and purchase date, what other information about the pony do you expect or intend to store in the app?
2. Do you need to store a photo of the pony in the app? Does your device have a camera?

and the most difficult question of all:
3. Do you mind ads showing up? If I put a price on the app, how much are you willing to pay?

The reason I ask question 3 is that because despite what people say, Apple isn't a pleasant company to work with- to be able to sell apps on the app store, one needs to pay a yearly fee of US$99 upfront before they'll let your apps onto the store, and even then for every copy of the app sold, they take a slice of the payment. Once I get the app done, I will consider working on an Android port of the app (reason I'm not doing Android first is that my current android phone is a real lemon- it only has 100MB of storage and only runs Android Gingerbread). However, I might be able to give the android port away for free because Google is much more lenient with the Play Store- heck, I can choose to not use Google's store and distribute the app independently and it will still work even if you don't jailbreak your phone (assuming your telco allows installation of unverified packages on your phone). Or should I just give up on Apple and go straight to Android? (which wouldn't be too hard anyway because I was pretty much trained up on Java for all 6 years I spent on the IT course in college, and Android phones technically runs a Java derivative)
