Customs / Spill Your Painting Secrets...

Okay, I really suck at trying to draw any kind of detailed designs on my ponies. HOW do you guys do it? I heard something mentioned about tracing paper, but there were no details and it seems the old forum is no longer searchable. Is this something typically used? Or is everyone really freehanding such intricate paintings on their ponies?

Sorry guys, I think the drawing/sales post will have to be delayed another day or so. I'm continuing in what appears to be a 12+ hr work day and when I get home I don't think I'll be in the mood to get the post ready

EEP! I think I might be making people too excited with all this mystery, heh heh. It's cool, but not that cool. And since I have my answer (random drawing) I'll go ahead and reveal her now:

This post will not serve as the drawing pool--that post will go up in the "For Sale" section of the Arena in the next day or two. So if you're interested keep an eye out for it

I also have a Rarity with Celestia head. If there is huge demand for her as well maybe I'll draw 2 winners, with the first winner getting first choice...

I have a pony from Tao Bao that I suspect many people would be interested in buying, but only two copies of her. One will go up on eBay, but the other one I'd like to offer to someone on the Arena at near cost. I'm not sure how to choose who will get the chance to buy the cheap one. What do you guys think?

Target is the only place I've seen them, but it's also the only place in my immediate area that I can buy ponies at (our walmarts don't carry any).
I'd be happy to pick you up a CMC set at cost if you'd like.
