I'm actually planning to clear out everyone I have, listed and waiting, and then either open a new thread on the new MH arena, or just sell as I make them, since I am taking so long with these orders.

No, I'm just really slow at these, and when things come up tend to nudge them to the back burner. I am working at them this week though (but again slow).

I wonder if they will take this without printing it out. My prints is a PITA.
If you can pull it up on a smartphone they should; the date is printed, and I know Michaels always does it that way.

This makes me wonder about the PD Draculaura now.  :cloud:

Bald patches, in part caused my her hairstyle (at least on mine). I plan to rehair her? But haven't gotten around to it. Which is terrible, because I mainly liked her hair.

Well, we need the base doll to do the custom of... but I may turn a few of these into customs, if they're pretty enough.

why is the website not working anymore? Does this mean they're doing more stuff to it?!

Post Merge: June 07, 2013, 08:43:05 AM

None of the websites are. You just get redirected to everafterhigh.com. Crap! I never wrote down the codes. Did anyone here write them down? And can you tell me what they are?
There's an Ever After High Wiki that has them all listed, as well as what each site revealed as they went:
Vllage of Book End
Rewrite Destiny
Royal or Rebel

Possible villain on right?

All I could think watching the webisodes, is that the black haired girl in green is Scarah. She looks like her: Nondescript, boring, black hair and green clothes. So she's Sarah to me.

I'm a good, pale and freckled Irish girl, and my mom always hunted down redheaded barbies for me when I was a child because I wanted dolls that looked like me.

It's nice to see that redheaded characters are much more prevalent these days. I grew up with the best one: Pippi Långstrump ;)

But there weren't redheads to play with (not that I was much interested in dolls when I was young).
The only one I remember was Disney's Little Mermaid and she didn't have freckles at all.
They're still holding back with freckles, I think. Somehow they're only tolerated when spread out over the nose and nowhere else.

I loooved Pippi Longstocking (assuming she's the same gal with gravity defying pigtails) when I was young! And of course they ignore freckles still; they're the devil's kisses, or so Puritans insisted during witch hunts.

Oh I know, and in part added that shades of white girl to reflect that. Briar is tanned? But still very clearly Caucasian. And I agree with all the frustrations about that too- I'm a good, pale and freckled Irish girl, and my mom always hunted down redheaded barbies for me when I was a child because I wanted dolls that looked like me. It irks me a lot that Mattel isn't making characters that reflect the myriad colors people and girls come in- we all get blonde girls are pretty, but so is everyone else.

What I am hoping they do is something similar to the werewolf siblings, where each of them is a different color even though they're all brown wolves, as opposed to Barbie and all her friends being the same shade of white.

I've actually been looking at the artwork, and they don't all have exaaactly the same face in it. Apple's got a round ball face, but the rest have more shape, with Briar's being the thinnest/heart shaped with a definitely defined chin. So, I'm a bit more hopeful they'll all have their own faces. And maybe skin tone, since they're different shades of white girl too.

Yes, in the original Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent was the 13th fairy associated with the kingdom, but because she was seen as crueler/darker/13 is a bad number, she was not invited along with the other 12. So she showed up anyway, smiled, and cursed the child with death. The other fairies (or at least one of them) changed the curse slightly so that she would not be killed killed, just asleep because her powers were too strong.

As for the Royal/Rebel thing, and my plotline views:
The Royals are the characters who are happy to live with their stories the same as their parents,  and are also for the most part Princes and Princesses. And they all are so happy to just keep to the story because it's their 100% guarantee for a happy ending- it's in the story after all that's how the stories work. They've spent their whole lives being told hey, just do this and you get to be happy foreeever, so of course they're cool for it.
The Rebels on the other hand, don't necessarily want to go through with their story. Like Raven, she doesn't actually waaant to be evil and hated forever, whether she dies or not. Hatter I think is just crazy? But her friend so support. And Red, if she is a werewolf, doesn't necessarily want that getting out. Hunter I'm not sure if he's really a "rebel", and in fact Dexter seems more likely to not want to be a perfect prince, since as a nerd boy he isn't a perfect charming (to most anyway. Some of us like sweet nerds).

Anyways, I'm pretty sure the "Poofing" isn't them vanishing, but their story disappearing because it will not longer be the old story. They'll have a new, unexplored story, which is prolly what locked up Grimm wants, but his brother would rather preserve the status quo.
