Ponies, please! Of course all the horses will be in there. Everybody knows SwiftWind is essential to the She-Ra aesthetic.
I love the She-Ra horses, especially the translucent ones.
Why are they changing it so that she's not Prince Adam's twin sister? What is it with wtiters believing they hafta change core aspects?

I had a light pink one and a purple one with blue hair that a friend gave me when I was a kid. I'm not sure if they had names.Post Merge: May 24, 2018, 03:50:36 PMI found them! Crystal Swiftwind and Crystal Moonbeam!http://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/shera-animals.phpWell I can't watch She-Ra, but I'm hoping you guys can tell me if its any good.
Though my only true worry is the toys, as Mattel's quality is currently, and has been, the absolute worst in these past few years.
Mattel gave up the MOTU license so I suspect that would include Shera as well?Does anyone know who will get the license for the toys? Maybe not known yet?

What is it with wtiters believing they hafta change core aspects?Probably because there is currently no ongoing or upcoming He-Man franchise reboot to go along with it.Anyways..I don't like the new Voltron but I'm still fairly excited and optimistic for this one, because of the writers/crew involved and that a lot of other characters like Mermista and Netossa already being confirmed. I'm just hoping the art style is more unique instead of being either 'round and quirky' or anime/Avatar-styled derivative like a lot of modern cartoons.Though my only true worry is the toys, as Mattel's quality is currently, and has been, the absolute worst in these past few years.

Maybe not known yet? There are different stories about this. Some claim Mattel sold everything MOTU, and through the years the IP was handed over a lot from one company to the next. All the while, Mattel kept first rights to toys till 2023, but has to pay royalties. Others say that Mattel still holds the rights to MOTU, and only the media rights are not in their hands; those currently belong to Universal.She-Ra (as a toy) is legally a completely separate brand from MOTU, only connected to MOTU through animation (which belonged to Filmation). If Mattel sold off everything She-Ra as well, they might still have first rights on toys for the upcoming years, just like with He-Man. If they still own She-Ra, they can produce toys based on *their* original more girly (pink/purple/gold) She-Ra design, but if they want to make Dreamworks/Netflix (ex-filmation IP) style based toys, they probably pay royalties .The legal separation between He-Man and She-Ra probably has something to do with why She-Ra never showed up in the He-Man reboots, and why He-Man is currently not being written into the She-Ra reboot.
